Who is Mayci Neeley married to? The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives alum opens up about past abuse

Influencer Mayci Neeley, who was on the 2024 reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, opened up about past experiences she encountered in her private life. According to an exclusive by Us Weekly, it was mentioned that she had several storylines eliminated from the show. One of these includes the time she was s*xually assaulted.

In her memoir, Told You So, she details some of these experiences. Speaking to the media outlet, Mayci Neeley said:

“Now that the book is coming out, I can share more of my story. Because I only got to share stuff about Arik, which I was super grateful for, since that’s what matters most to me. Sharing that part of my story is the hardest part for me to deal with to this day.”

Mayci Neeley is married to Jacob Neeley, and the couple shares two children. She is also the mother of son Hudson. In her memoir, she mentioned her experiences of being involved with someone named Dick, with whom she had a difficult relationship. The influencer shared:

“For a while, the hardest part for me was dealing with the abuse that I dealt with and my s*xual assault. So I brushed over it when I was filming for season 1 but it was all cut out of the show. I wish it wasn’t because I went back to the place where I got s*xually assaulted and talked about different stories that happened to me there.”

Mayci Neeley talks about trauma and how she dealt with certain situations

Sharing what she expects from prospects, Mayci Neeley said that the show did not show the full story. She hoped that one day the show could give people a better view of the situation. She also shared that she always wanted to work on projects that supported other women and hoped this experience could open that path for her. However, she added:

“It’s very traumatic and going back to certain places, knowing they can get cut, is hard. Sometimes it is hard to watch because we have real stories and I’m so glad that they were able to show them in season 2.”

Mayci Neeley explained that when she faced situations that could be upsetting, she sometimes said she didn’t want to do them because she wasn’t sure if those parts would be cut out. She felt she had become more careful about protecting her peace by choosing what she wanted or didn’t want to do.

At the same time, she admitted that the show was very successful for a reason, so she trusted their work and couldn’t stay upset about it.

In July 2025, Mayci Neeley and Jacob welcomed their youngest daughter. Sharing the news on Instagram, she wrote:

“Our girl is here and our hearts are so full.”

She previously told People Magazine that her kids were very happy about getting a new sibling. They used to argue playfully about whose baby it was; her daughter claimed it was hers, while her son said it belonged to both of them. They even argued about who would change the diapers, which made her laugh. She felt excited for her children and for the whole family.
