Actress Emily Ratajkowski and French film director Romain Gavras have sparked rumors about their relationship. The news comes days after the Gone Girl actress finalised her divorce with ex-husband and actor Sebastian Bear-McClard. According to a report by E! News, the two individuals were spotted together in New York on November 9.They were seen engaging in PDA. While they chatted with each other, Romain wrapped his hand around her shoulder. Later on, they also engaged in a kiss, Just Jared reports. For the uninitiated, Romain Gavras was previously in a relationship with Dua Lipa.Romain was born in 1981 to director Costa-Gavras. His 2012 music video Bad Girl did well with over 130 million views. For this, he also received awards for Best Music Video, Best Pop Music, and Best Director, among others. In 2010, the director released his first feature film, Our Day Will Come. He also directed the 2018 film The World Is Yours, and four years later, another feature film of his, Athena, came out.He also worked on the 2011 song No Church in the Wild with Kanye West and Jay-Z. Chatting with Etage magazine previously, Romain Gavras said:“From a very young age I knew this was what I wanted to do. I enjoy making long feature films, short films, music videos, and sometimes commercials. I come from a generation raised by television, so I don't necessarily think that films are a noble art, and you can't do something else.”Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian had sought legal separation in 2022. When asked why he was interested in violence and conflict, he said that there is an element of conflict in drama. According to him, even a simple love story involves conflict. He said at the time:“At the moment, I’m actually trying to self-analyze as to why I am drawn to this type of imagery, and I think it’s to do with what I was raised on. It’s always a movement towards chaos, because rage blinds everything; rage blinds reason.”When asked about the question of morality, Romain Gavras said there were two moral compasses.
