Shifting Gears Season 2 has officially kicked off, and the protagonist of the show, Tim Allen, was recently teased by Michelle Nader about his relationship with Eve (Elfman) during an exclusive interview with US Weekly.
Tim Allen is a renowned American actor who is married to Jane Hajduk, an American actress and producer. While Jane is not as active as Allen when it comes to her career, she has worked on projects like Chicago Hope and Joe Somebody.
In season 1 of the show, things were left hanging between Allen and Elfman's relationship. Three months after their kiss, Matt (Tim Allen) was getting ready to see Eve (Elfman) again during the Wednesday, October 1, premiere. The sole issue? Eve assumed Matt wasn't interested in her after he didn't text her after she made a move.
Matt's problem was his anxiety about moving on after his wife passed away. Here comes Charlotte (Travis), Matt's friend from season 1, who heard him confiding in his late wife at the grave.
When Matt remarked, "We kissed and I am not sure what that means," Charlotte retorted, "It means you are a big old sl*t."
While toward the end, the two characters sorted things out and decided to go on a date. The showrunner, Michelle Nader, says that the couple will keep on facing ups and downs in the forthcoming episodes.
"I will say that it is really interesting to watch them," Nader said in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in September regarding the dynamic between the two in season two. "It's interesting to watch their relationship develop, and so they're going to go into high gear — but it's going to be a little bit of a roller-coaster."
More about Tim Allen's wife, Jane Hajduk
Tim Allen has been married to Jane Hajduk since 2006. Hajduk is an American actress and producer who was born on October 26, 1966, in Oil City, Pennsylvania.
In a November 2024 interview with People Magazine, the pair attributed their decades-long success to effective communication.
"We talk.” said Hajduk, as Tim Allen replied, "That’s right, we talk. We do. And we're good buddies."
Jane Hajduk has worked on a few projects, including TV shows like Benchmarks and NCIS, although she isn't as active as her husband, Tim Allen.
She also co-starred with Allen in several movies, including Zoom, The Shaggy Dog, and Joe Somebody. In addition to her acting career, Hajduk has produced several television programs, such as Mind Masters and The Watch.
The former Home Improvement star has two children. Allen and his ex-wife, Laura Deibel, had their first child, a daughter named Katherine, in 1989. The two divorced in 1999. He and Hajduk have a daughter, Elizabeth, who was born in 2009.
Tim Allen has been married twice. In 1984, he married Laura Dreibel, his high school sweetheart; however, in 1999, they decided to legally split, and in 2003, they formally divorced.
Later on, Tim Allen admitted that he had disregarded his family in favor of his work, which caused the marriage to fail.
After that, the actor started dating Jane Hajduk, with whom he was married in 2006 after five years of dating.
In 2017, Tim Allen revealed to Closer Weekly that he had changed from the person he was in his first marriage.
