Popular singer Usher recently shared a video on social media celebrating his children's first day back to school.

In the fun social media clip, Usher, who is a popular R&B artist, captured his emotions by singing his heart out in freestyle as all his four children were ready to get back to school.

Usher was married to Jennifer "Jenn" Goicoechea on February 8, 2024. The singer and Jennifer together share two children named Sovereign Bo, their first daughter, and Sire Castrello, their son. Additionally, Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, have two boys together: Usher V and Naviyd Ely.

More than just a lighthearted social media video, this moment serves as a reminder that, regardless of one's level of celebrity, parenthood inevitably brings with it feelings of pride, happiness, and mild embarrassment.

Many people consider Usher Raymond IV, who was born on October 14, 1978, to be the "King of R&B" and one of the most important figures in modern pop and R&B music. Although Usher started his career at the age of 15, his 1997 album My Way was the catalyst for his rise to fame.

Days before Usher's Super Bowl halftime performance in Las Vegas, on February 8, 2024, the singer and Jennifer Goicoechea were granted a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada. The pair were married that weekend, according to sources who spoke to People four days later.

Sovereign Bo, the singer and Goicoechea's first child together, was born in 2020. In 2021, they welcomed a son, Sire Castrello. Additionally, Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, have two boys together: Usher V and Naviyd Ely.

"I have an amazing partner, a support system. We have an amazing dynamic. I'm very happy, very fortunate to have an incredible friend, not just a partner," Usher said about Goicoechea to People in November 2023.

Goicoechea was raised in Miami and was born to a Puerto Rican father and an Italian mother. She pursued further study in her home state after graduating from high school.

She began studying recording arts at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, in 2003, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Goicoechea first started working in the entertainment industry with her mother, Barbara Goicoechea.

Since 1988, Barbara has served as the head of operations at ACT Productions, a multimedia and event production firm based in Miami. Goicoechea's career in entertainment began when she was able to work with her mother to get a job as an assistant to singer Ciara.

Goicoechea started representing musicians under her management company, Boogs'N'Effect Management, after moving to the West Coast from Florida. KING (née Keisha Rain) was one of her first musicians.

While Goicoechea and Usher had crossed paths multiple times, working in the music industry for years, the two were spotted kissing multiple times backstage at a Hollywood Bowl concert in 2019.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the newlyweds also snuggled up during Sean "Diddy" Combs' 50th birthday celebration in Los Angeles in December 2019. At the star-studded event, Usher also gave a performance.
