Diddy's federal sex trafficking trial's second week began on Monday, May 19. The court this week received testimony from Cassie Ventura's mother, Regina Ventura, and Diddy's former assistant, David James, among others.
There are rumors that the musician and actor, Usher Raymond, has also testified in the ongoing trial. These rumors began after a YouTube channel, WhatIsMyStarWorth, uploaded a video on their channel on May 20, 2025, titled:
''1 MINUTE AGO: Usher Breaks Down in Court, Reveals What Diddy Did to Him at 14...''
The video's description claims that it has details of Usher's testimony. The video had gone viral, however, the claim that Usher testified in the ongoing trial is fake. Although Usher's name has come up during the trial, he has not taken the stand yet, as per the latest report coming out regarding the ongoing trial.
Usher Raymond has not testified in Diddy's ongoing trial
Diddy's trial after jury selection began on May 5, and the opening statements were delivered on May 12. Last week, Diddy's ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura testified in court, and this week marked the second week of trial.
As the news of Diddy's trials is covered largely by the media and bits and pieces are also shared on various social media platforms. Lately, there has been a rumor lingering around that Usher Raymond testified in the ongoing trial.
This rumor came in when a YouTube channel uploaded a 26-minute and 13-second video titled 'Usher breaks down in the court' and 'reveals what Diddy did to him when he was 14.'
The video then reveals a fabricated story of Usher testifying against Diddy. The video description reads:
''In an emotional and unexpected moment during the ongoing Diddy trial, Usher reportedly took the stand and broke down in tears, revealing a deeply personal and disturbing experience from his youth.''
It further reads:
''Usher claimed that something involving Sean “Diddy” Combs happened when he was just 14 years old—and what he shared has left the courtroom in shock.''
The reason this video claims can be debunked as fake is that the video description says that the content of the video is fictional and made for entertainment purposes. It also says:
''No official court records or verified reports confirm these claims.''
Further, it also says that the video has altered or synthetic content, and the sounds or visuals in the video were either edited or generated digitally. The channel that posted this video, WhatIsMyStarWorth's bio, also says that their videos may contain "gossip-based information, rumors, or exaggerated portrayals of reality." It also says:
''Please exercise your own discretion while watching and remember that not all information presented may be factual or verified.''
The video has gained over 3,067,000 views as of the writing of this article. Diddy is facing grave charges, including sex trafficking, transportation for prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy, and if convicted, he will face life imprisonment.
