As per a recent article by Page Six, American actress Gwyneth Paltrow was "sad" when her ex-boyfriend Brad Pitt married Jennifer Anniston. This has been revealed in Amy Odell's new book, Gwyneth: The Biography.

The biography further reveals Paltrow's reaction when she was asked by a reporter during the Toronto Film Festival in September 2000 about how she felt when Brad Pitt married Jennifer Anniston. Odell writes in her book, about the incident:

"Are you really asking me this question?" Gwyneth replied, her eyes now ‘daggers.’ "I can’t comment on this kind of thing,"

As per the book, Paltrow confided in her friends that she was sad over Pitt marrying the Friends actress. It also mentions that Paltrow took a jab at Pitt during a business meeting with Aerin Lauder, the heiress of Estee Lauder cosmetics. Here's the excerpt:

“At one dinner, the two were talking about Brad Pitt. According to someone familiar with the discussion, Gwyneth allegedly told her, ‘He’s dumber than a sack of s–t.'”

Gwyneth Paltrow dated Brad Pitt from 1994 to 1997, and their romance was widely written about back in the day. Their sudden split shocked fans. Per Parade, Odell's book suggests that the difference between their worlds is what led to the split.
