Brandi Glanville, former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has revealed that she suffered chemical burns on her face after using a hair removal product.

In a video posted to TikTok, the 52-year-old shared that she applied Nair to her face in an attempt to remove a suspected facial parasite. The result left her skin irritated and burned. The clip, which has since gone viral, shows Glanville with visible redness and swelling. She joked about her appearance, saying:

"I know I look attractive."

She then added:

"Good news, you don’t have to spend a lot of money on peels and lasers anymore."

Glanville has been dealing with a mysterious facial condition since filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco in early 2023. She believes she contracted a parasite during the trip, which she now refers to as “Caroline,” possibly referencing her former castmate, Caroline Manzo.

Brandi Glanville's risky attempt to solve a long-term health issue

Brandi Glanville said that doctors have been unable to explain her facial issues. She described having facial swelling and losing teeth. She also revealed that she spent over $70,000 on treatments and tests. Nothing seemed to solve the problem.

She explained in her TikTok video that she was desperate and decided to try Nair on her own. She said:

"Nair is the fountain of youth, I figured it out."

But she admitted she left it on her skin too long, and said:

""I overdid it… seven minutes, don’t do it."

Brandi Glanville also claimed the Nair caused the parasite to move on her face. She noted:

“It moved ‘Caroline’ from one side to the other.”

However, there is no medical evidence that this happened. Nair is not made to treat parasites. It is a chemical product used to remove body hair.

A parasite problem that won’t go away

Brandi Glanville has talked about the suspected parasite before. In December 2024, she told Entertainment Tonight that she started feeling unwell months after filming in Morocco:

“We had food sitting out for hours on end, and some of it was meat.”

Glanville said her symptoms included swelling and changes to her face. She tried IV antibiotics, which helped a bitbut were too expensive to keep using. She also said that the condition made her stay home more:

“I’ve been on meds this whole year. I don’t socialize. I don’t go out.”

There is still no official diagnosis. Glanville claims she visited many doctors with no answers. It is unclear whether the condition is caused by a parasite, an allergic reaction, or another medical issue.

Brandi Glanville’s use of Nair on her face shows how serious and frustrating her health problem has become. She tried to find relief in her own way, but it caused more damage. Her story has caught attention online and sparked concern among fans.
