TV personality Jen Shah was found guilty of operating a telemarketing scheme that took advantage of people. Per an exclusive report by People Magazine, she will be released from jail on December 10. The RHOSLC alum has been in prison for more than two years since 2023.Previously, the sentence was for more than six years. However, it was brought down time and again due to her conduct. Sharing a statement with the magazine about the early release, Chris Giovanni, who is Jen Shah’s manager said:“Everyone's very grateful for the BOP's decision, especially because it means Jen will be able to reunite with her family for the holidays. It's a gift she doesn't take for granted.”Giovanni also added:“Jen's in a really positive, hopeful place mentally. She's done a lot of reflecting and real growth during her time away, and is genuinely not the same woman as she was before. Her focus is on her family and building a healthier, more grounded life.”When Jen Shah's sentencing was announced, she shared a statement expressing grief for her actions. She promised that she would do everything in her power to pay back for her actions. Last year, she penned down her thoughts in a letter to the magazine reflecting on her time in prison. She said that it was an extremely painful journey for her to be away from her loved ones. At the time, she also wrote:“In my daily prayers, I ask God for the courage to realize I am worthy of a second chance… I am finding the courage to set my fear and guilt aside.”Looking back at Jen Shah’s recent social media postsOn her Birthday on October 4, a post was shared on her Instagram in which she was seen posing with her husband and football coach Sharrieff Shah. The post read:“Happy Birthday to our Queen Bee, Jen Shah! She remains in good spirits with gratitude for her family, friends, and all the Shah Squad who continue to uplift her with love and support.”Earlier in August another post was shared on her and Sharrieff’s wedding anniversary. The post mentioned:“Happy 31st Anniversary today to me and my baby! Words cannot express how much I love and appreciate you. You bring so much joy to my life & I am forever thankful for your overwhelming love and support as we approach this next chapter. Thank you for blessing me with two amazing young men. I love you so much & can’t wait to hold you again soon.”Jen Shah's legal representative, Priya Chaudhry had previously conveyed her client's thoughts. She said that Shah was sorry for what she had done. Despite everything, she believed in the justice system and also acknowledged that doing unlawful activities had consequences.
