Real Housewives of Potomac alum Mia Thornton was arrested on November 19 in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for stealing $11,000 from a rented furnished apartment. She was taken to Fulton County Jail.

According to the Atlanta Police Department's statement:

"Officers assigned to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport responded to a wanted person call at the Customs and Border Protection office. Officers identified the individual as Ms. Mia Fields-Thornton, who had an active City of Atlanta warrant related to a larceny involving an alleged furniture theft."

According to police, as reported by TMZ, the condo owner reported the incident after the star moved out in October without warning, taking a TV and some furniture along.

As of now, Mia or her representatives have not released any statement regarding her arrest.

What did Mia Thornton steal from the condo?

According to the police, Mia Thornton reportedly stole furniture items worth eleven thousand dollars, which include TVs, furniture, DVD players, and radios, Us Weekly reported.

Mia first talked about the condo after the RHOP reunion, after Gizelle Bryant talked about Mia, that she, along with her boyfriend, as reported by BRAVO:

"lives in Atlanta. She does not live in D.C., Maryland, or Virginia."

However, Mia rejected the accusations, saying:

"Why would you say that? I haven’t moved… I have a condo here."

According to Mia, she was based in the DMV area.

Mia Thornton last appeared on The Real Housewives of Potomac. However, Thornton left the show earlier this year and moved to Atlanta. Speaking of the same, she wrote on her Instagram:

"With every new season comes a new beginning and I have some news to share. My family and I have made the decision to relocate to Atlanta, and with that, I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Potomac next season."

She added:

"And to the amazing fans, your love and support has meant everything to me. I’ll always carry that with me. This next chapter is already full of exciting opportunities, and I can’t wait to take you all along for the ride. Big things are coming… "I don’t just make headlines — I make History. Atlanta, brace yourself. The empire has expanded."

As of now, Mia Thornton has no upcoming projects listed on IMDb. With her recent arrest, her public image may take a hit, which could affect future opportunities.
