Taylor Swift was previously rumored to attend Travis Kelce's game against the New York Giants at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday. But in the end, she was not seen anywhere, leading fans to wonder the reason behind it. According to Elle Magazine, the "Shake It off" singer did not attended the game at the MetLife Stadium due to allgeged security concerns.

This news came a week after Taylor Swift was confirmed to have attended the match against the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Back in September 2023, when rumors of the couple dating first emerged, Taylor Swift was spotted at Travis Kelce's game against the Chicago Bears, where she was seen watching alongside Kelce's mother, Donna.

More about why Taylor Swift was not seen at Travis Kelce's game in New York

Taylor Swift attended the game at the Arrowhead Stadium last week under tight security measures. Although the "Blank Space" singer was not clearly spotted, fans did see someone they believed to be her being escorted behind a moving bulletproof barrier. It was later confirmed that she did, infact, attend.

A source close to People Magazine, confirmed to the outlet how the "Style" singer is infact excited by the upcoming NFL season and said:

"Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season. Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule. This fall will be completely different. It’s the first season where she’s not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.”

According to Page Six, a source close to the couple had revealed in an interview last year that the "Cruel Summer" singer prefers attending games only at the Arrowhead Stadium because of the strict security measures taken by her team. They said:

"She’s not going anywhere unless she knows the venue intimately, and it has been thoroughly scouted and secured in advance."

Taylor Swift's appearance at Travis Kelce's game last week was her first public appearance at one of his games since she announced her engagement to the player on August 26. According to People Magazine, Swift made a rare appearance on the "New Heights" podcast, hosted by Travis Kelce and his older brother Jason Kelce, just one week before announcing her engagement. During the podcast she gave fans a rare glimpse into her relationship, saying:

"I knew that he wasn't crazy the first couple of times that we talked. I was just like, he's truly getting to know me in a way that's very natural, very pure, very normal."

Taylor Swift is now gearing up for the release of her twelfth studio album, titled "The Life of a Showgirl," which is set to release next month, on October 4.
