“Yes, I’ve lost weight” - Katie Price addresses her transformation, slams invasive fans

British model and reality TV star Katie Price has addressed her weight transformation. After fans stormed the comment-sections of her social media posts calling her thin, and expressed their worries about her health amid her weight loss, Price took to Snapchat to upload a video directly addressing the concerns.

As per The Sun, Price called out fan comments, and said the following about the attention her weight loss is getting,

“It’s driving me mad. Yes I've lost weight. Yes that’s what I've wanted to do, I've wanted to lose weight.”

In her Snapchat video, Price shared why she felt the need to lose weight. She said,

"Because the past three, four years ago when I broke my feet and I was in a wheelchair for 10 months because they said I’d never walk again, and so obviously you put weight on being in a wheelchair. And then I did all the IVF stuff, that also puts on weight. So yeah, I did put on weight and I hated it, I felt uncomfortable and it wasn’t me."

Price went through IVF in 2023 when the documentary, Katie Price: Making Babies chronicled her fertility journey. Price decided to end her IVF treatments at the time because of the mental and physical toll associated with it.

Recalling the decision to stop with her IVF treatments and its impact on her weight, Price said in the Snapchat video,

“So then I started, obviously not doing the IVF, and then after months, your system gets back to normal and I started being more active and eating healthy.”

Continuing, Price also called out her fans who keep commenting on her weight, and said,

"Everyone is talking about it – it’s driving me mad. I’m healthy and I do eat."

Katie Price, who rose to fame as a model for The Sun’s Page 3, has undergone a number of procedures in the past to enhance her appearance.

As per The Sun, Price has undergone £100K worth of cosmetic procedures as of 2024. The news outlet estimates that Price has had hundreds of aesthetic surgical interventions, out of which, the model has undergone 16 br**st enhancement surgeries, rhinoplasties, veneers, eye lifts, multiple lip fillers and BBLs, also known as Brazilian B*m Lift.

Price herself has addressed her numerous plastic surgeries, and spoke critically about her liking for cosmetic procedures during the podcast, How To Fail with Elizabeth Day. Price said,

"Sometimes I do look in the mirror and go, 'Ooh, are people looking because you look plastic, or are they looking because you look good?"

Sharing how important it is to be educated about the effects of surgery, Price said,

"People don't realise when you have surgery and stuff, you only see before and after, you don't see in between - when you've had it, the pain and the cleaning, the stitches out and the bed rests."

She added,

"So I would love to educate people about it. It's damaging to your body. I've had so many anaesthetics. I know I still choose to do it, but I'm older now."

Making a comment on beauty standards, Katie Price confessed during the podcast that she didn’t feel beautful. However, she was aware of her modeling skills and felt that she was photogenic.
