Romeo Beckham debuts emotional new tattoo as tensions with brother Brooklyn reportedly continue to grow

Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham are reportedly feuding, and it seems the relationship between the siblings hasn’t improved. On August 5, 2025, Romeo Beckham shared pictures of his new tattoo.

The tattoo on his shoulder reads "C’est La Vie" in bold font at the top. The French phrase can be translated literally as “such is life” or “that’s life.” The new tattoos might indicate veiled messages from one feuding sibling to the other.

Romeo’s latest body art comes after he reportedly blocked his brother and his wife, Nicola Peltz, on Instagram following a birthday post they made for Harper, his younger sister, which excluded him and Cruz. Romeo followed the post about his new tattoo with a track from Justin Bieber’s latest album, Walking Away.

Why are Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham feuding? What have parties said about it?

The Beckham brothers have been reportedly in a feud for a while now. While the parties and their relatives have not addressed the cause of the feud, tensions within the family are visible as Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicole Peltz Beckham, have been noticeably absent from family gatherings and occasions.

The Standard magazine reported that Brooklyn has requested no contact from his family. On July 10, 2025, Brooklyn reportedly unfollowed his two brothers, Cruz and Romeo, on Instagram.

Rumors have spread that one of the reasons for the brothers' feud was that Romeo’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, had dated Brooklyn, and the other was uncomfortable with it. Kim Turnbull addressed the situation on her Instagram Page:

"I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire; however, it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative."

Turnbull emphasized in her Instagram post that she was never involved romantically with Brooklyn Beckham and that they used to be just school friends:

"I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved."

The brothers haven’t publicly acknowledged Turnbull’s statement. Brooklyn and Nicole recently renewed their vows, three years after their marriage ceremony.
