Since Ryan Reynolds finally teamed up with Hugh Jackman in Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), which marked their entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans have been thinking that these two will eventually pop up in the next big thing in the MCU, Avengers: Doomsday, which is slated to release on December 18, 2026, after being delayed recently.
Now, this thing might actually be a thing after what the Deadpool actor did recently. He shared a graffiti Avengers logo on his Instagram, which hints that the Merc with a Mouth might appear in the upcoming MCU film(s). There wasn't any caption in the post. So, that made things more mysterious for us. You can see the post below.
Earlier this year, Marvel released the names in the Avengers: Doomsday cast in a several-hour-long update, where it confirmed names including Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth, Sebastian Stan, Ian McKellen, and more. The word is, this is just half the roster, and more names might come into the light. Maybe we will get to see 'Ryan Reynolds' written on the back of a chair.
If you look at the comments section of Ryan Reynolds' post, there's hope that Deadpool will appear in it.
Multiverse has made things easier for the MCU

Since the MCU began playing with the multiverse, several opportunities have come flocking in. So, that means we cannot rule out any possibility of a Marvel character within Disney boundaries in future movies. As X-Men and Avengers' universes are set to collide in Doomsday, the chances of Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool appearing are higher than ever.
We already saw Ryan Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth trying to get a job with the Avengers like he did with the X-Men; he failed. Happy Hogan didn't really make him happy, it seems, and then it was his visit to the Time Variance Authority later in Deadpool & Wolverine, which opened up more gates for him to appear in the MCU films.
The Time Variance Authority was first introduced in the miniseries Loki, where, by the end of it, we see Tom Hiddleston becoming the very core of the Sacred Timeline. And Deadpool has already entered the Sacred Timeline, so add that to the equation.
Ryan Reynolds doesn't want Deadpool to join either X-Men or Avengers

Even though Deadpool is eager to join these iconic teams, this idea isn't really attractive for the actor behind the character. In one interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said, when asked about him not joining the Avengers,
"Just the opposite! I think Deadpool works so well appearing with the X-Men and Avengers, but he always needs to stay an outsider. His ultimate dream is to be accepted and appreciated. But he can’t be accepted. His coping mechanism of deflecting shame through humor works only when used to pave over his many inadequacies. If and when he does become an Avenger or X-Man, we’re at the end of his journey."
But let's not think about the end just yet; Kevin Feige hopes to include Deadpool and Wolverine in future MCU projects. So, let's see what happens.
