Samara Weaving’s new heist comedy Eenie Meanie is now available to stream, platform revealed

Samara Weaving is back with Eenie Meanie, an exciting action thriller that shows her going on a heist with her past lover. She kicks and screams her way out of a problem he creates in her life, but it's not the kind of trouble that turned her into one of the leading screaming queens. This time, there are fewer scares, more humor, but the same amount of thrills.

Eenie Meanie streaming details revealed

20th Century Studios released Eenie Meanie on Hulu on August 22, 2025. The studio also produced this project along with Reese/Wernick Productions.

The filming reportedly took place between April and June 2024 in and around Cleveland, Toledo, and Lakewood in Ohio. It served as an ideal backdrop for its heist premise, set in similar neighborhoods.

The movie includes a lot of driving scenes with Samara Weaving behind the wheel. So, she needs to be in command of her work to make it all look convincing. While speaking with Decider, she revealed how she prepared for it all.

"It was mental. I didn’t know how to drive before this movie. I lied to everyone and said that I could totally drive, but I absolutely could not. I really do think there’s a reason why you learn how to drive when your brain isn’t fully developed, because it just seems like an insane thing to do as an adult. I quickly learned how to drive, and the next minute I’m in these insane cars with these stunt drivers teaching me how to do donuts, screeching, going a million miles an hour, reversing."

She continued,

"It was really fun. On the day, everything was practical. I didn’t do a lot of the driving. Most of it was pod cars, which means I’m pretending to drive the car, but actually there’s a person sitting in a makeshift car, on top of the car, driving it for me, and then I’m just trying to match the movements."

Samara Weaving leads the cast as Eddie / Eenie Meanie, a woman who grows up in the foster care system as a result of her unreliable parents. Karl Glusman plays her long-time friend and past lover, who is up to no good. She starts a new life away from him, only to get dragged back into the same old mess, where she is forced to do some things against her will.
