Jennifer Lawrence's candid revelation about Kourtney Kardashian has caught the internet's attention. During a Vanity Fair lie detector test with her Die My Love co-star Robert Pattinson, the Oscar-winning actress called Kourtney Kardashian "more annoying than ever." The remark was quick to go viral as it sparked waves of notable online conversation among fans and enthusiasts.

In the interview, Jennifer Lawrence was asked if Khloé Kardashian was her favorite Kardashian sister. She answered with a "yes." Then, the actress added,

"Kourtney is more annoying than ever. She drives me nuts."

Pattinson asked for details, and the Hunger Games star mentioned:

"Because everything has to be an announcement. It's like, you know, I am not going to wear outfits anymore. Like just wear whatever you want. Don't make an announcement about it. Or like, I don't have a TV in my room. Like just don't watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just shh."

Netizens reacted to Jennifer Lawrence's statement, saying:

"She is literally speaking for us all😂"

Netizens' reactions to Jennifer Lawrence branding Kourtney Kardashian "more annoying than ever"

Pop Base took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to share the viral interview clip, captioning:

"Jennifer Lawrence says Kourtney Kardashian is “more annoying than ever” on ‘The Kardashians’ during Vanity Fair’s lie detector: “Everything has to be an announcement… just wear whatever you want. Or ‘I don’t have a TV in my room…’ just don’t watch TV”"

Netizens were notably quick to weigh in on the comment section of the X post as they penned their opinions on Jennifer Lawrence's revelation. Below are some of their remarks:

"This is the funny thing about celebrity culture. Jennifer Lawrence is basically saying what a lot of viewers feel, but she is framing it in a way that cuts deeper. the performance of simplicity can be just as loud as the drama itself. Kourtney’s whole “minimalist, no-TV, soft-life vibe has become its own type of announcement. It stops being authentic and starts feeling like branding.", noted an X user.
"That kind of over-the-top presentation can really make even simple things seem like a big production. It's like trying to watch a movie where every line is delivered like it's the most important moment ever.", commented another.
"This is precisely how I feel about people who make a production of announcing the kind of people they would never date: “I would never date a man less educated than me or outside of my tax bracket.” “I would never date a single mother.” OK so don’t date them, why announce it??", shared a third.

Others also chimed in:

"Jennifer Lawrence said that with zero hesitation too she’s in her savage truth era. “Everything has to be an announcement” is such a perfectly petty roast 😂😂😂You just know the Kardashians’ group chat went silent for a good five minutes after that one.", penned a netizen.
"Some people think Jennifer is being rude, but honestly, she’s just speaking the truth.", opined another.
"In Ancient Rome there was a concept called gloria: if people didn’t see your virtues, they didn’t count. So everyone turned their life into a performance. Basically: the Kardashians didn’t invent anything. Rome did," commented a third.

Interestingly, Jennifer Lawrence has been notably open about her affection for the Kardashian family. She has previously called herself a "superfan" of their reality show. She also made a cameo in a 2019 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
