Family and friends of Ozzy Osbourne paid their last respects to the heavy metal and rock legend on July 30, 2025, and it was an emotional moment for all present. At the gathering for the funeral procession, Sharon Osbourne, the singer’s late wife, and children, Aimee, Kelly, Jack and Louis Osbourne were present.
Sharon, dressed in a flowy black gown, clutched a rose petal and was comforted by Kelly, Aimee and Jack in similar black attire. The trio appeared to be struggling to hold back tears.
On July 22, the news of Osbourne’s death rocked the world. His family put out a statement that the Prince of Darkness had passed away:
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family's privacy at this time."
Days before his death, the frontman of the Black Sabbath band had performed for 40,000+ fans during the Back to the Beginning concert in Birmingham. The singer spoke to fans about how much the show meant to him:
“I don’t know what to say, man, I’ve been laid up for like six years. You have no idea how I feel — thank you from the bottom of my heart,” said the rock legend. “You’re all … special. Let’s go crazy — come on!”
