The internet erupted with the release of the Superman sneak peek. There was mayhem once again last night when a teaser for the upcoming trailer of the James Gunn film dropped. YouTube's comments section was filled with fan comments.
@armenianeric wrote:
"Stop hating and start appreciating! Superman fans UNITE!"

Then there was @1Dragon-King171:
"I'm so hyped for this movie I don't care what anyone say."

And one @charlesgames6389 seems mesmerized:
"That cloud scene looks so angelic and majestic."

Not just that, it's the colors in it that user dubbed @ultimateproductions6681 noticed:
I don't know why, but the coloring looks so much better here than the first trailer. Looks amazing.

For @4thDeadlySin, this is the real deal:
"It's been a long time since I was genuinely excited for a live-action DC film."

Just a couple of weeks ago, James Gunn teased a 'trailer 1.0' while responding to a fan on Instagram.
What did that super-short Superman teaser give us?

It began with a familiar scene we have already seen in the clips that have popped up before. Our titular hero arrives and saves a girl in the nick of time as the massive monster destroys stuff in the background.
That cuts to, of course, that angelic cloud scene Mr. @charlesgames6389 was talking about.
If you look closely, a street light and even a pole appear on the man's left for a few nanoseconds before the camera cuts to the next scene. Maybe they aren't clouds but dust or smoke.
The next couple of scenes pass in quick succession. The first is of The Daily Planet's newsroom, and the second shows Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor in what looks like the LuthorCorp premises. Then comes the shocker, Hammer of Boravia, a brand-new threat that James Gunn will put Superman against.
Superman doesn't appear to be crossing over with other films in the DC Universe as of now

The new DC Universe has been kicked off already with the animated series Creature Commandos. Superman will kick off the movie train in it. However, our Kryptonian isn't going into a different screen after this, at least that seems like the case for now.
However, characters like Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion) and Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced) recently appeared in Peacemaker Season 2's trailer. Both of them are confirmed to appear in the film.
