We will have The Fantastic Four: First Steps in just six days, kicking off Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The hype is building about the film, and now a report might add to that. According to an industry scooper, Daniel Richtman, also known as Daniel RPK, there are a couple of post-credits scenes in the film.
In his recent post on Patreon, he claims that one of them is just a gag and the other will give us a glimpse into Avengers: Doomsday. Currently, there is a barrage of theories about the upcoming MCU films already. So, it's difficult to say which one might just come true. However, we have the synopsis of the film already, which goes like this:
"Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet."
Many fans have discussed this rumor, where we are likely to see Victor Von Doom in a post-credits scene. We aren't likely to see Robert Downey Jr. as the character's face hasn't been revealed.
Matt Shakman, who is directing the movie, denies any involvement of Victor Von Doom in his movie. In an interview with Empire magazine, he says,
"Doom is not a part of my film, and therefore not a part of my purview."
Well, over the years, we have learned to never trust anything that's been denied about an MCU film. Andrew Garfield would support this.
So, what might the reported The Fantastic Four: First Steps post-credits scene mean?

There are a couple of things to consider here. One is that the movie's sequel is already in development, and another is, of course, Avengers: Doomsday.
When we consider the first post-credit scene, which is about gags, as per Daniel RPK, it is likely to present a stage for the film's sequel. We might say that things will be normal in the aftermath of the upcoming film. That will be like a bridge between this film and the potential sequel.
But the other, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, is most important here, as it might set up a stage for Avengers: Doomsday. Let's forget what Matt Shakman said for a moment and consider this one to be real. It might mean that Victor Von Doom might be after Franklin after all.
This scene will reportedly feature Robert Downey Jr.'s character appearing near Sue Storm and Reed Richards' son Franklin, which, without a doubt, will shock Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm. Galactus is already after this powerful kid, and after he fails to kidnap him (which he hopefully will), Doctor Doom might try to do the same.
We will soon know if these rumors about the post-credits scenes are true. All we can say is that the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom will definitely cross paths, whether in The Fantastic Four: First Steps or Avengers: Doomsday, or maybe both.
