The latest Glen Powell thriller, The Running Man, has a captivating, high-powered soundtrack that depicts the intense, dreadful and critical world of the story.
Released on November 14, 2025, the film follows Ben Richards, who, out of urgent financial needs, participates in a dangerous game show and navigates his way to survival. This film is helmed by Edgar Wright.
Its synopsis, as per IMDb, goes as follows:
"A man joins a game show in which contestants, allowed to go anywhere in the world, are pursued by "hunters" hired to kill them."
It is based on a novel written by Stephen King in 1982. The first film adaptation of the book was made in 1987, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The original score of The Running Man has been composed by none other than the Academy Award-winning composer Steven Price. Some of his best-known works in films include Gravity, Suicide Squad, Wonder Park, Heart of Stone, Heads of State, and many more.
This is not the first time Edgar Wright and Steven Price have collaborated. The British music composer has created music for Wright's films, including The World's End, Baby Driver and Last Night in Soho.
The score created by Price for The Running Man highlights several important moments and turning points in the film. The music pieces are dedicated to capturing the emotional truth of those scenes, which takes the experience of the film to many levels higher.

The songs are available to stream on Spotify and Amazon Music. Along with streaming, its vinyl version shall also be released by Milan Records. In addition to Glen Powell, The Running Man also stars Colman Domingo, Josh Brolin, Michael Cera, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones and many others. Upon its release, the film garnered a score of 6.8/10 on IMDb and a rating of 63% on Rotten Tomatoes.
