Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters premiered on June 20, 2025, and took over the viewers’ hearts as it became a global hit. Not just for its songs, Soda Pop and Golden, which topped several global charts, the film in general and the characters were loved by the audience.

KPop Demon Hunters tells the story of three protagonists who come from a long line of demon hunters. Rumi, Zoey, and Mira are part of a girl K-pop band called Huntr/x, and through their voices, they try to create a protective layer called Honmoon that protects everyone from the demons. The problem begins to arise when they try to turn the Honmoon golden and stumble upon a demon boy band that threatens to destroy their efforts.

While the Huntr/x are in a fight with demons to protect the humans, numerous scenes in the animated film keep it light, making the movie more entertaining.

7) Huntr/x gobble down food and scare the demons

Before their big concert begins, the three women of the K-pop band Huntr/x, Rumi, Zoey, and Mira, are seen gobbling down food for the 10000 calories they might need to perform for their fans. This is one of the first hilarious moments from the KPop Demon Hunters, and it's also a great way to introduce the demon hunters, as it doesn't take long for them to realize that the crew members on their plane are all demons.

While they save their Ramen bowls from being discarded, they also fight the demons and reach their concert on time.

6) The fake Doctor who almost convinced them of curing Rumi’s voice issues

Since Rumi was revealed to be half-demon, she was gradually losing her voice before they turned the Honmoon gold in KPop Demon Hunters, which would have helped her erase the demon marks on her body. While she does not reveal this to her bandmates, they take her to a doctor to cure her problems related to her voice.

The doctor makes big claims of knowing what problem Rumi was suffering from and gives cartons of medicine to her, which she later finds out to be all fake. The moment where the doctor almost convinces the women that he can see through the problems all of them are suffering from was one of the hilarious moments of the movie.

5) Huntr/x meets the Saja boys for the first time

One of the best parts of KPop Demon Hunters is how the movie exaggerates the scenes in the animated film, turning some mildly funny moments into hilarious ones. For instance, the moment when Huntr/x sees Saja Boys for the first time, they are taken by the handsomeness of the boys.

From Zoey’s pineapple eyes after seeing the abs and Mira’s heart eyes to the eating popcorn that pops out from Zoey’s eyes is one of the most hilarious moments of KPop Demon Hunters. On top of that, being ignored by the boy band adds to the hilarity, and the scene becomes one of the most popular scenes, as just after that, they perform their song, Soda Pop, making it an iconic moment.

4) Huntr/x sliding down to the stage

It doesn’t take much time for the demon hunters to discover that Saja Boys are actually demons in KPop Demon Hunters, and they just want to kill them and end the threat. To do that, they follow them to their interview, but their cover is busted when Jinu, the leader of Saja Boys, calls them to join them on stage and asks to bring a slide so that they could come down through it.

The scene becomes hilarious when Huntr/x begin to come down wearing leather outfits, making a weird squeaky sound as they come down, and that too in a very slow speed. It was embarrassing for Huntr/x but also one of the funniest moments of KPop Demon Hunters.

3) Derpy and his clumsiness

One of the most loved characters from KPop Demon Hunters is not just Jinu and the Huntr/x but also Jinu’s pets, Derpy and Sussie, who make the scenes even more fun with their presence. For instance, when Derpy and the six-eyed, hat-wearing magpie go to visit Rumi to pass on Jinu’s message, the blue cat-like tiger finds himself dealing with a potted plant which he knocked over but could not pick it back up.

Rumi helps him with picking it up, but as he moves forward, he knocks it over again, creating a hilarious moment that amazes Rumi and Sussie as well, who seemed a little annoyed by the clumsy tiger.

2) The old woman asks Rumi to find another man

Rumi goes on to meet Jinu to convince him to be on her side to create the Honmoon golden in KPop Demon Hunters. She also tells him that it might free him from Gwi-ma, and it looked like Jinu was almost convinced by Rumi’s offer.

Just then, an elderly woman selling bracelets comes to them and asks Jinu to buy one for his girlfriend, thinking they are dating. This caught both of them by surprise as they denied being in a relationship, causing a small argument between the two. However, it's the elderly woman who makes the scene hilarious as she glares at Jinu from up close and gives Rumi a free bracelet, telling her to find another one, as Jinu is hopeless.

1) “No more abs!” -Mira

The Huntr/x were mesmerised by the Saja boys' beauty since the beginning of their introduction in KPop Demon Hunters. Even after knowing about them being demons and fighting them a couple of times, the women couldn’t resist the charm of the boy band whenever they were near them.

The attraction continued as they were killing them at the end of the movie, making the scene hilarious. Mira kills one of them while screaming, "No more abs", and Zoey is taken aback by one of the demons' beauty, commenting that he was her type. While Jinu and Rumi gave us one of the bittersweet moments of the film, the other two Huntr/x members were nothing but hilarious while they ended the Saja Boys.
