Diddy is serving his 50-month federal sentence at the FCI Fort Dix prison for his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution law, aka Mann Act. As he serves the sentence, the singer has reportedly been handed his first prison job. The singer was reportedly spotted doing laundry duty as his first prison job, as per TMZ.DJ Akademiks has now reacted to this, stating in an X post on November 1, 2025:"They got diddy washing other inmates Draws at a federal prison cuz Cassie lied… man. Sh*t crazy. Think bout it!"Akademiks references the fact that Cassie Ventura testified against Diddy, calling him out for coercion to participate in his 'freak offs', which involved multiple humiliating acts as well as abuse. She also testified that Diddy regularly battered her physically, hitting her, and he also engaged in emotional and psychological manipulation and abuse. She also stated on oath that he used the videotapes of freak-offs to blackmail her. Ventura's testimony also included a portion where she stated that she was pushed into suicidal thoughts and almost committed it once due to the toll of her abuse by Diddy. One instance of the rapper physically assaulting Ventura in a hotel corridor was leaked to the public in 2024 by CNN, triggering the spate of lawsuits and federal indictments that ultimately put the rapper in men.The hotel video was questioned by the rapper's lawyers, with the lawyer Marc Agnifilo calling Ventura a liar and stating that she started the altercation. Ventura was also called a cheater by the lawyer. However, Diddy acknowledged the hotel incident publicly and apologized to Ventura in September 2024.Cassie Ventura was worried Diddy would go freeCassie Ventura was worried that Diddy would go scot-free and not serve any prison time. She was also worried that the rapper would retaliate against her and the other women who testified against him.She enumerated this in a letter to the presiding judge in the matter of Diddy's case, Judge Arun Subramanian, before the sentencing of the rapper. Portions of her letter are quoted below:"For four days in May, while nine months pregnant with my son, I testified in front of a packed courtroom about the most traumatic and horrifying chapter in my life...The entire courtroom watched actual footage of Combs kicking and beating me as I tried to run away from a freak off in 2016...."She continued in the letter, enumerating her fears of retribution:"I still have nightmares and flashbacks on a regular, everyday basis, and continue to require psychological care to cope with my past. My worries that Sean Combs or his associates will come after me and my family is my reality."She added:"I have in fact moved my family out of the New York area and am keeping as private and quiet as I possibly can because I am so scared that if he walks free, his first actions will be swift retribution towards me and others who spoke up about his abuse at trial."Cassie Ventura ended the letter by requesting the judge consider the victims and their strength it took for them to come forward and testify:"I hope that your sentencing decision reflects the strength it took for victims of Sean Combs to come forward. I hope that your decision considers the many lives that Sean Combs has upended with his abuse and control."Cassie Ventura was not the only one who testified against the rapper during his trial. The rapper's trial saw testimonies by Kid Cudi, Regina Ventura, Kerry Morgan, Dawn Richard, as well as an anonymous person known as Jane, among many others.
