The CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, is all praise for F1: The Movie. Produced and distributed by Apple itself, the company witnessed an increase in its services revenue of $27.4 billion in its June quarter, as reported by Deadline.

"Thrilled to release F1 in theaters around the the world”

Tim Cook, upon looking at the 13.3% surge in the services revenue of Apple, is cherishing their home production F1: The Movie.

Released on 27th June 2025, the film has been immensely successful both critically and commercially. Built on a budget between $200 and $300 million, the sports film has garnered a worldwide collection of a whopping $523,440,904.

As per reviews, it has garnered an impressive rating of 7.9/10 at IMDb and a score of 83% at Rotten Tomatoes.

As reported by Deadline, Tim Cook calls the movie:

“One of the summer’s most unforgettable blockbusters.”

Applications such as Apple TV+, iCloud, App Store, Apple Music, and Apple Pay are included within the Services section of the company. So, by the company's Q3 of fiscal year 2025, Apple experienced a boost in its service revenue, up to $27.4 billion. So, this year seems successful for the company.

As reported by Variety, the release and strong box office performance of F1: The Movie have been impactful for the company's growth. About the June quarter revenue, this is what Tim Cook states:

“Today Apple is proud to report a June quarter revenue record with double-digit growth in iPhone, Mac and Services and growth around the world, in every geographic segment”

Apple has supported multiple successful films over the years, including CODA (2021), The Severance (2022), Ghosted (2023), Killers of the Flower Moon (2024), Napoleon (2024), Fly Me to the Moon (2024), The Gorge (2025), Fountain of Youth (2025), etc. So it looks like the company is flourishing in the entertainment business too.

Some highly anticipated films yet to be released on Apple TV+ include Spike Lee's Highest 2 Lowest, starring Denzel Washington, and The Lost Bus by Paul Greengrass, starring Matthew McConaughey.

F1: The Movie follows the plot of a veteran Formula One driver, who now steps into the game once again to mentor a younger driver. Helmed by Joseph Kosinski, the film stars Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and many more.
