Travis Kelce, a football player for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League, recently made headlines when he appeared at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Kelce made a comment during the panel that some fans are interpreting as a subtle hint about a future with Taylor Swift—though it may have simply been about adding a pet to the family. During the panel discussion on pet product ads, Kelce admitted that he didn't have a dog, as per The Sun. Someone quipped and said:

''Maybe it’s time to get a dog''

To which Kelce replied, saying:

''There you go, yeah, I need to get a dog''

Fans took this comment from Kelce as a subtle hint at a first step toward a future with Swift.

After Travis' recent appearance at the Cannes Lions festival and his comment about getting a pet dog, the ongoing baby and engagement rumors have only intensified.

Kelce is currently preparing for the upcoming NFL season, and the Look What You Made Me Do singer is eagerly anticipating the season too, as this would be the first time since they started dating that Taylor isn’t busy with her tour and can take some time off to attend as many of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games as possible.

Just last week on Friday, June 13, 2025, Taylor made a public appearance at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, while Kelce trains for the upcoming match. She visited the hospital, met patients, took selfies, signed autographs, exchanged friendship bracelets, and spent hours with the staff and the children at the hospital.

When she was asked by one of the patients about what she was doing in Florida, Taylor replied, saying:

"My boyfriend is training here, in Florida."

Taylor's sweet and kind gesture was appreciated by everyone, including the hospital doctors, staff, and patients. As per Page Six, Taylor's visit to the hospital was followed by her night out with Travis Kelce at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

As of now, the couple has not made any official confirmation about their engagement or proposal, so it remains a rumor for now.
