The teaser for tomorrow's "THE SHAQ EPISODE," as the Kelce brothers captioned in the post, opens with the host duo giving a warm and energetic welcome to Shaquille O'Neal.
Jason exclaimed,
"Our guest today is 7'1" center from Louisiana State University. He's a 15-time NBA all-star, 4-time NBA champion, 3-time finals MVP, a league MVP, Olympic gold medalist, and an NBA hall of famer. You know him as the big Shamrock, the big Aristotle, the Superman, Shaqtus, the diesel. We got him. Simply Shaq."
Calling himself the black Kelce brother, Shaquille played Taylor Swift's I Knew You Were Trouble on the podcast.
Listening to the peppy beats, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce excitedly began grooving. The guest admitted the song to be his "favorite song in the world" and expressed his happiness for Taylor regaining her music rights.
Clapping after O'Neal's remark, Travis shared:
"Shout out to Tay Tay. Just got that song back, too. Just bought all her music back so it’s finally hers, man, I appreciate that, dog. Love you big dog."
Travis Kelce celebrated Taylor Swift's new achievement after she announced the exciting news on Instagram on May 30. Taking to her official website, the Lover singer released a statement about buying back her first six albums' master recordings and getting control of the music catalog.
Expressing her joy, she wrote in her heartfelt letter,
"Hi. I'm trying to gather my thoughts into something coherent, but right now my mind is just a slideshow. A flashback sequence of all the times I daydreamed about, wished for, and pined away for a chance to get to tell you this news. All the times I was thiiiiiiiiiiiiis close, reaching out for it, only for it to fall through. I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the carrot dangled then yanked away. But that's all in the past now. I've been bursting into tears of joy at random intervals ever since I found out that this is really happening."
In this emotional letter, Swift also penned,
"I really get to say these words: All of the music I've ever made... now belongs... to me. And all my music videos. All the concert films. The album art and photography. The unreleased songs. The memories. The magic. The madness. Every single era. My entire life's work."
Taylor admitted feeling "extremely heartened by the conversations this saga has reignited" in the music industry among artists and fans.
She concluded her heartwarming letter, thanking everyone and noting,
"Thanks to you and your goodwill, teamwork, and encouragement, the best things that have ever been mine... finally actually are."
