21 Savage recently appeared on the Perspektives With Bank podcast with Big Bank.

During said appearance, he revealed that Drake had apologized to Metro Boomin multiple times after their fallout during the previous year's feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake:

"Metro felt a certain type of way about something. Drake told me and Metro that he understood where he was wrong and he apologized multiple times. Now, Metro is kind of more open minded... I feel like in the future, the near future, we'll see them work together again."

He went on to further discuss the matter, stating in response to the question of whether or not Drake took a hit from being involved in the feud with Kendrick Lamar:

"Do I think he took a hit? Yeah. No. He's still the number one streamed ni**a this year. I feel like he took an internet hit but then it' be like, "Damn, did you take an internet hit?" Cuz streaming, you got to go on the internet to stream. And I'm still the number one ni**a streaming. Feel like to to certain people they might say he took a hit by I don't I don't look at that sh*t like that."

21 Savage later went on to state that he had asked Drake not to participate in the feud after the first song:

"I don''t know. I told that ni**a not to do all that sh*t anyway. He told that ni**a to leave that sh*t alone. But goddamn he felt like he was being challenged lyrically. So he wanted to respond and people people chose who they you know what I told Drake?"

21 Savage added:

"He called me one of them days. I called him. I think this was after the first song with Metro them. And I said "Goddamn, I said, "You fa to go into a battle thatyou can't win." Like there's no way you can win...no matter what, bro, certain situations even if you win, you still don't win...."
