Columbus Short’s wife, Aida Abramyan-Short, has accused him of abuse and shared evidence to support her statement, according to TMZ. The news came soon after Columbus was granted a restraining order against his wife after she reportedly hurt a puppy and then got violent with him.

According to TMZ, the incident happened on July 7 while Aida was taking care of the laundry. After which, Short reportedly shouted at her, as per the publication:

"Don't slam the fu*king door b*tch. Your mouth is gonna get you in trouble! Shut the fu*k up!"

After saying the abusive words, Short then reportedly tried choking her with both his hands. Aida was quick to ask for help by calling out loudly:

"My husband is choking me, help!"

After hearing Aida's scream, her neighbor called the cops to report the incident.

A week after Short allegedly became violent with her, Aida appeared in court on July 14 to seek a restraining order against Short with photos as evidence to prove her claim. The photos reportedly include a swollen eye, scratches, and bruises, according to TMZ. One of the photos uploaded by TMZ shows red scratch marks on Aida's back.

With Short already having a restraining order against her, Aida was also granted a temporary one against him. For now, both have legal orders in place.

Why did Columbus Short file a restraining order against his wife, Aida?

According to Short, his wife, Aida, hurt their 2-month-old puppy and left Short with a bleeding eye after he asked her about it. He also claims to have been hit multiple times during the argument.

In the statement reported by TMZ, Columbus Short said that a neighbor called the police after hearing his wife:

"screaming very loudly as if she was being murdered"

As per Short, the police arrested Aida after they found bruises and a black eye on Columbus.

While both Columbus Short and Aida mentioned that a neighbor called the police during the incident, the identity of the neighbor has not been revealed yet.

According to TMZ, both Short and Aida have asked the court to keep each other at least 100 yards away from themselves and their children. In addition, Short has also asked that Aida stay 100 yards away from his two dogs.

On the other hand, Aida’s statement claims that the children are at risk with Columbus Short. She alleges that he has been aggressive towards her in front of the kids and has a serious drinking issue.

While both were granted restraining orders, Aida was not given temporary custody of the children.
