Brad Pitt finalized the sale of his Los Angeles home to Austin Butler last Friday. This sale comes after the house was burglarized in June. According to reports, three individuals were suspected of being involved in the break-in, and it wasn't known if the culprits stole anything from the actor's home.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to TMZ that Brad Pitt wasn't at home at the time of the incident and was at a press tour promoting his latest racing film, F1, in Japan. The movie F1 was released in June 2025, and Pitt played the lead role as Sonny Hayes. Allegedly, the invaders broke in through the front door.

In August, TMZ reported that the Los Angeles Police Department had arrested the suspects who broke into the actor’s home after they had tried breaking into a different house. This arrest happened months after scouring through surveillance footage and running fingerprints lifted from the scene.
Brad joined the likes of Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Jeremy Piven, Marshmello, Austin Butler, Ty Jerome, Olivier Giroud, and Mary and Romain Bonnet, who had their homes burgled this year.
While the F1 star has offloaded one property from his estate portfolio, he added another one immediately. According to reports, Brad Pitt acquired another Los Angeles home worth $12 million from The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning.
