D4vd's rented Hollywood home reportedly had a Burn cage incinerator, as per a report by the New York Post. Burn Cage Incinerators are outdoor incinerators that can burn to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit or about 871 degrees Celsius. They can be used to burn human bodies and are banned in Los Angeles. The incinerator was found unused and still boxed at the rented place. The cage incinerator was found by private detective Steve Fischer, who elaborated on the matter in an X post on December 16, 2025:"One of those items was a Burn Cage incinerator, advertised to burn at 1,600 degrees. Human cremations are typically performed at approximately 1,400 degrees. An incinerator is not legal to use within city limits and serves no legitimate purpose at a residential property in the Hollywood Hills."The investigator went on:"To be very clear, this burn cage was not used. It was still new and in the box. However, given that Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s remains were ultimately found in the Tesla frunk, the presence of an incinerator at the same residence associated with that vehicle necessarily raises questions about intent."He added:"The Burn Cage was not taken during the search warrant and because it was not used it appears it’s not of importance to any possible criminal investigation. But we think it’s important context, even if not criminal. The burn cage and other related items were delivered to the residence under a false name, although the deliveries were accepted at the property."Fischer was hired by Mladen Trifunovic, the owner of the property that the rapper was renting. Trifunovic revealed he had hired the Private Investigator after he did not receive any updates from the Los Angeles police.D4vd's premises were investigated in relation to the death of Celeste Rivas. Rivas's body was found decomposed on the trunk of a Tesla car registered to the singer. Previous news reports suggest that the singer has been collaborating with the police regarding the matter.Jim McDonnell, chief of the Los Angeles Police Department, was asked recently whether D4vd was a suspect in the matter. The chief refused to elaborate on the matter:"That’s a case I won’t talk about at this time because it’s an ongoing case. To do so would potentially jeopardize the case. There was some talk too about our request to keep the information confidential that the coroner was looking to release, and our goal there is not to impede transparency."The evidence surrounding the case has been placed in a security hold, which prevents it from being released to the public until the hold is lifted, as per Fox 11. There have not been any arrests in the matter as of the writing of this article.D4vd faced cancellations after Celeste Rivas was discovered in a Tesla registered to himD4vd's performance at the Split Milk festival was canceled after the discovery of Rivas in a Tesla registered to him.
