Janet Hubert got on The Big Tigger Show to clear the air regarding the decades-long feud between her and Will Smith. Hubert played Vivian Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, while Smith played an eponymous character. Janet left the show after three seasons, saying that it was because of "creative differences".

Years ago, when both actors were on the set, they did not see eye to eye, which led to their fallout. Will Smith even went on to claim that Janet:

"wanted the show to be The Aunt Viv of Bel-Air Show."

Their feud ended in 2020, but before that, during an interview with TMZ in 2011, Hubert responded to the idea of a reunion, saying that Smith was:

"still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, (and) he doesn't know the word."

However, over the years, during the special reunion, Janet Hubert revealed what was going on in her personal life. Additionally, she was pregnant during season 3 of the show. She shared:

"Home life was not good at all... I was no longer laughing, smiling, joking because there were things that were going on that nobody knew about."

Will Smith responded by saying:

"During that time of her pregnancy, I wasn't sensitive... I wasn't perceptive, and now that I've had three kids, I've learned some things that I did not know at the time, and I would do things very differently. But I can see where I made the set very difficult for Janet."

What type of relationship do Janet Hubert and Will Smith share now?

Janet Hubert clears the air on The Big Tigger Show. She explained what type of relationship she and the Bad Boys actor have now that they have settled their years-long feud. She began by saying that she is:

"At the scene of the crime," referring to the same station where Will Smith did an interview 37 years ago to call Janet out.

She further explained:

"So, I'm at the scene of the crime, so it's very cathartic for me, and very healing for me to be here... So we come full circle, everybody."

When Big Tigger asked her how they were doing now after they had buried the hatchet, Janet replied by saying:

"It's so good. As a matter of fact, I'ma give my boy, I'ma give my baby his props. He put together the website with his team for me. Yes, he did. Given his entire website team, paid for it, and then gave me his entire social media team to work with, and also helped me put the pictures out there to Amazon, to Netflix, to this one, to that one. Yes, gave me his entire team."

anet Hubert shared that Will Smith visited a foundation in Miami that was deeply meaningful to her. In her words:

"And he came to Miami for an event with the Embtace Girls foundation. It is a foundation I've been working with for over 20 years, and they mentor young girls from some of the poorest communities in Florida... And Will came out, and we brought in 300 girls and boys, and we showed the movie, and we gave them T-shirts, and we gave them books, and we read the story together. He spent three hours."

Jazzy McBee, the other host, commented on Janet Hubert's revelation, saying:

"That's love. That is love."

Janet Hubert and Will Smith have moved past their feud, with Hubert describing their bond now as supportive and full of respect. She praised Smith for backing her projects and even helping with her foundation, showing that their relationship has come full circle.
