On Sunday night, the game had begun in full swing, and the star player of the Indiana Pacers, Haliburton, had already scored 9 quick points. However, just a few minutes into the game, he was injured as he tore his Achilles after a non-contact collapse.
He was taken to the locker room, and the Pacers announced that he would not return for the rest of the game. His father, John Haliburton, shared an update with ESPN's Lisa Salters, saying that Tyrese was in good spirits and rooting for his team from the locker room.

As per reports, a day before the finals, Haliburton had confirmed that his leg wasn’t fully recovered but that he intended to play through the pain. His calf injury had been a concern for the team; however, Tyrese had shown resilience and commitment to his team by playing despite the injury.
The full extent of Haliburton's injury and details on his treatment haven't been officially disclosed yet.
