Jillian Michaels is a personal trainer, nutritionist, author, and businesswoman. She is famous for her role as a trainer on the American competition reality show, The Biggest Loser. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Michaels' net worth is estimated to be around $18 million in 2025. The majority of her wealth comes from being a personal trainer, as well as appearing in a number of shows throughout the years.

Jillian Michaels monetized being a personal trainer. She launched a few fitness programs, such as Body Revolution and BODYSHRED. She also founded her own media company, known as Empowered Media, LLC. Jillian's net worth also grew from her fitness app, My Fitness App.

Michael's media company released 20 DVDs, three games, nine books, a radio talk show, and a podcast. She also launched FitnessFusion.com, which is a streaming service with videos and guides from the world-renowned fitness experts.

$5.8 million of her net worth came from a legal dispute with Lionsgate Films. Lionsgate shared Jillian's workout videos for free on their YouTube channel. She felt that users would be less likely to pay for her content if they could access it somewhere else for free. She won the case.

As for real estate, Jillian Michaels bought a house on Las Flores Beach in Malibu in 2010. She paid $6.625 million for a 4,300 square feet home with two ocean-facing balconies. Six years later, she tried to sell the house at $9.75 million. After no takers, she reduced the price to $8.795. However, to date, the house remains unsold.

Jillian Michaels opens up about The Biggest Loser

Jillian Michaels sat down for an interview with Women's Health and spoke about her role as a trainer on the show. She is defending herself after numerous criticisms about how the show is unhealthy, saying she has data to back it up.

In her words, she explained:

"If you say it's unrealistic, I totally agree. But if you say it's unhealthy, I'd disagree, and I have the data to back it up."

A few months ago, Jillian was on TMZ Live, talking about The Biggest Loser, and calling out some of the narratives that they twisted about her.

While Michaels was on the show for 12 seasons, she clarified that she did not support everything that they did. During season 15, Rachel Frederickson lost 155-pound and won the show. This did not sit right with Michaels, and she drew the line here.

She said:

"I was deeply disturbed when she walked out on the stage that day, and I never went back. There was just a limit in regard to what the platform could bear as times change and evolve, and in regard to my control of my image on the platform."

Jillian Michaels has built a remarkable career as a fitness icon, entrepreneur, and media personality, with a net worth of $18 million. Despite controversies surrounding The Biggest Loser, she continues to stand by her methods while acknowledging the show's flaws
