The 9-1-1 and The Walking Dead actress, Kelley Mack, died on Saturday, August 2, 2025. The news of her passing was shared by her sister and family in an Instagram post on Tuesday, August 5.
Mack had revealed through her social media that she was battling glioma of the central nervous system. She died in her birthplace of Cincinnati, in the presence of her family members. Mack was 33 years old at the time of her death.
She made her debut in the 2008 film The Elephant Garden, where she played Chloe, earning her an Acting Award from the Tisch School of the Arts. The film had also won the Student Visionary Award at the Tribeca Film Festival, as per IMDB.

Kelly was not only an actress, but also a voice-over artist and a producer. She began her acting journey as a child actor in commercials. Since then, she has worked in several well-known films and TV series, including The Walking Dead series, where she played the role of Addison, also known as Addy, as a supporting character.
She first appeared in Season 9, Episode 6 of the series, and her last appearance was in Season 10, Episode 10 of the series, which aired in 2020.
She also appeared in Chicago Med, where she played the guest character Paige Reynolds. She made an appearance in Season 6, Episode 9 titled For the Want of a Nail in the series. In the series 9‑1‑1, she made a guest appearance in Season 3, Episode 2 titled Sink or Swim, where she co-starred alongside Angela Bassett.
She also appeared in the 2021 feature film Broadcast Signal Intrusion, playing the character Alice. Kelly also worked in several commercials, including Chick‑fil‑A, Dairy Queen, Budweiser, Ross Stores, and Dr Pepper.
According to Deadline, as a voice actor, she recorded for Hailee Steinfeld’s Gwen Stacy for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. As a producer, she produced a few short films, including Universal, an upcoming feature film, the 2015 short film Positive, the 2015 The Kingdom, and 2016’s A Knock at the Door, which won the Festival Award at the Atlanta Horror Film Festival and earned a pair of nominations at FilmQuest.
The news of her death was shared in a statement by her family read:
''It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley. Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go.''
It continued:
''Kelley passed peacefully on Saturday evening with her loving mother Kristen and steadfast aunt Karen present. Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies 🦋 ❤️. She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express.''
It ended by saying:
''She would want you all to know how much she loves you. And as her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I’m so f**king proud of her.''
A memorial service is set for 1 p.m. on August 16 at the Glendale Lyceum in Glendale, Ohio. Kelley is survived by her parents, siblings, grandparents, and her boyfriend.
