Guy Gardner is a character who is more commonly known as Green Lantern. He has featured in the new trailer of the forthcoming superhero film Superman. The film, written and directed by James Gunn, will be released on July 11, 2025, by Warner Bros Pictures.

Superman trailer also showcases another superhero, Guy Gardner aka Green Lantern. The character is played by Nathan Fillion, and it's one of the lesser-known Green Lanterns from DC Comics. He can create things and shields around him with his ring. He is one of the superheroes in the film alongside Mister Terrific and Hawkgirl. The character also has an appearance that remains faithful to its comic roots. His hair is in the bowl cut style, which is exactly how it's mentioned in the comics.

In recently released footage by DC, we get a glimpse of Guy Gardner walking in front of the camera. In the background, he is moving away military vehicles through his ring. A giant hand is seen moving tanks. Gardner is a standout in the Superman flick mainly because he is a compelling and interesting character who is rooted in his origin. In the storyline, he can also wield a ring that is yellow in color, becoming the only superhero to possess that. We can hope that Gunn has retained the character's humor and outspoken nature.
