American rapper YSL Woody is currently trending after a viral video showed him bloodied on the streets of Atlanta, reportedly after he fell off his motorcycle and injured himself, according to @Streetwork85N post on X.
The report of his road accident comes hours after YSL Woody, also called Lil Woody, hopped on to a livestream, claiming that rapper Future wasn’t involved in the Atlanta snitching scandal surrounding Young Thug’s YSL RICO case.
In a video now shared by DJ Akademiks, Woody was heard saying:
"Future ain't known to be on none of this bullsh*t that we on. Future is known to be about his paper. If you can see, Future don't have nothing but h*e problems. Cause that's what he do. He gon' run through them. He locked in. Give Future credit when it's due."
When the audience asked in the comments who snitched the most out of those involved, YSL Woody replied that neither did he care nor did it matter, as they all allegedly did to some extent. He also asked his followers to take everything with a grain of salt.
Exploring more about YSL Woody’s involvement in Young Thug’s trial
Recently, Young Thug’s friend and frequent collaborator Future was rumored to be one of the alleged snitches against him. Last month, an alleged past jail call between Thugger and 21 Savage was leaked online, where the former explained his issues with Gunna. He also name-dropped Future in it, according to Hot New Hip Hop reports.
However, Lil Woody clarified on his recent livestream that Future wasn’t involved in any of the YSL scandals, but instead took a plea deal because of a woman she was reportedly dating. YSL Woody, whose real name is Kenneth Copeland, also called out Peewee Roscoe in the same livestream for going after him and other Thug’s associates, including Gunna and YSL Duke.
Earlier, Woody, 34, was arrested and charged in the YSL RICO trial. However, he testified at the trial in exchange for immunity. Later, he confessed on the stand that he misled law enforcement for a long time to get them off his back.
The Penthouse rapper confessed to making up “fake people” to “snitch on” and lying to the police about Thugger’s case. As per Vibe, in August 2024, Woddy said:
“This is what happened. Okay. The police kept locking me up for whatever they could. Every time I come out the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So, what I did was to get ’em off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”
Notably, in September 2024, YSL Woody asked for forgiveness for his role in the trial in an Instagram post. He also prayed to God to watch over Young Thug as he navigated through a “corrupt” system. Subsequently, Copeland released a song titled, I Don’t Recall, about his role in the trial.
Later in October 2024, Woody took to YouTube and shared a video apologizing to the Slime Season artist. It was titled, 'Just a Conversation with Lil Woody.' At the time, Woddy stated:
“The pain, the suffering, everything I’ve caused on him and his family, I wish I had the mindset and the strength that I have now. I’ll never forgive myself. I took him through a process that I never should have taken him through. Even though I know I’m not the cause of it, despite how anybody may feel, it’s wrong.”
Young Thug is now part of a snitching scandal
Since Young Thug’s highly publicized YSL RICO trial proceeding, it has been speculated that his co-defendants and fellow YSL members, including YSL Woody, Gunna, 21 Savage, and Lil Baby, allegedly snitched on him, as per Hot New Hip Hop.
Last week, an alleged jail call leaked between Thug and 21 Savage, where the latter asked the former to defend Gunna. In the wake of this, a rumor surfaced that Thugger himself reportedly snitched on Peewee Roscoe during a two-hour police interrogation. The YSL boss immediately shared a post on X refuting the claims:
“They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?” he noted.
While YSL Woody, Peewee Roscoe, YSL Duke, and Ralo have since had fiery exchanges online, Peewee himself has also dismissed the claim that Thugger snitched against him. He shared online that Young Thug did what he had to do as a “tax-paying citizen” and “a real street n***a” who tried to stay “silent” and keep it “overly real” as long as possible, while trying to “pull me out the hole.”
Meanwhile, Young Thug has continued to claim Gunna, Ralo, and Duke snitched on him, HNHH reported. He also wrote and deleted a cryptic message meant for Lil Baby. He wrote:
“Wham what’s understood ain’t got to ever be explained I’m with cha forever.”
It was seemingly a response to another alleged leaked jail call where Thugger accused Pierre P Thomas a snitch. Thomas is the CEO of Baby’s label Quality Control. Baby has since denied the claim.
Another audio clip where Thug reacted positively to Gunna’s diss of Lil Baby in his track, Bread and Butter, during a jail call with 21 Savage has also surfaced online on Saturday.
A viral clip featuring YSL Woody circulated online on August 31, 2025. It showed the rapper lying with a head injury on the road, near Peters Street, Atlanta. The 31-minute clip showed passers-by trying to wake him up.
According to Streetwork85N, who first shared the video, he was later taken to a hospital and regained consciousness.
