In the documentation provided, he has charges of criminal obstruction of breathing and third-degree assault. A 33-year-old woman reported minor injuries to her neck and leg, and was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. An investigation is continuing.

This is not the first time that Mingus has had legal issues. Mingus was arrested in 2021 following an incident at the San Gennaro Festival, where he had allegedly punched a woman in the face. Mingus entered a plea agreement in 2022, and eventually the charge was resolved to one of disorderly conduct.
