Samara Weaving acts as a getaway driver in Hulu's Eenie Meanie, which was released on August 22, 2025, and received poor reception. Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 39% rating on its Tomatometer. However, the Popcornmeter was slightly better in contrast, giving the film a 60% rating as of this writing.

If you've seen Baby Driver (2017), know that it's still the best movie about getaway drivers out there. Safe to say that this one's a baby in front of that giant starring Kevin Spacey, Jon Bernthal, Jamie Foxx, and more. This one stars Samara Weaving as the titular getaway driver Eenie Meanie, Andy Garcia as Nico, Randall Park as Leo, and more.

The film's production began in April 2024 and was shot mostly in Ohio, wrapping up in June 2024. We will now explore the regions where the filming took place in the U.S. state.

The second-most populous city in Ohio was one of the filming locations for the Samara Weaving movie. The region has a rich history in films and was once cherished as a hotspot for making movies until Hollywood came into the equation. Now, it's mostly Hollywood.

Several movies that we have come to love over the years have been shot here. This includes the Marvel Cinematic Universe's The Avengers (2012), The Deer Hunter (1978), The Soloist (2009), and more. The recent DC blockbuster, James Gunn's Superman, also features the location.

Toledo

The next in the list of Eenie Meanie filming locations is Ohio's Toledo, the fourth-most populous city in the state, which also serves as the county seat of Lucas County. Though it has seen several movies being shot here, it is more famous for producing jazz legends like Art Tatum, Jon Hendricks, Claude Black, and more.

Several films have been shot here, most famously the Tom Hanks starrer A Man Called Otto (2022), a comedy-drama film where he plays the titular Otto Anderson. It was praised by critics and made $113 million at the global box office against its $50 million budget. Other films shot in Toledo include Sharknado 3 (2015), Feed (2005), and more.

Sandusky

Ohio's Sandusky was featured in Samara Weaving's Eenie Meanie as well, and it is comparatively smaller than the above two locations. The amusement park Cedar Point, which is among the most famous amusement parks globally, is located here.

The place too has been featured in some of the most popular movies, including The Shawshank Redemption (1994), The Avengers (which also featured Cleveland), and more.

Lakewood

Finally, the last location in this Eenie Meanie filming locations list is Lakewood, which has just double the population of Sandusky and lies on the southern shore of Lake Erie. It is one of those bicycle-friendly regions, which is something more and more places need to adopt across the globe.

The region has also appeared in several films, including I See You (2019), White Boy Rick (2018), American Splendor (2003), and more.
