Jurassic World Rebirth is now playing in theaters, and like the previous films in the franchise, it features some natural landscapes that will just refresh people's minds. Though that is different when the people are running away from dinosaurs.
A lot of locations were considered to shoot the film, but everyone settled for what the film's director, Gareth Edwards, suggested: Thailand.
It was a bit difficult for the crew, as they had to send the dailies to England for processing. Denis Stewart, an executive producer of the film, said that:
"It was five days of wondering if that film was going to get there okay, wondering if we could move on and strike the set and let an actor leave or if we were going to need to reshoot a scene or let it go. But not a single problem arose."
Other than Thailand, a few other regions were used for filming, which we will see in this list. So, let's begin.
Jurassic World Rebirth filming locations
Krabi, Thailand

There is a Titanosaurus sequence in Jurassic World Rebirth that was shot in a field in Krabi. However, to make this scene come alive, the creators first had to create an environment for that. They had to bring in a horticulturist to grow high grass, as the area is drought-stricken. Though that doesn't come as close as Christopher Nolan planting 500 acres of corn, this still was a miracle.
Trang, Thailand

Trang's Ko Krodan island was used for filming the Delgado family's arrival at the Ile Saint-Hubert, the film's fictional setting. A fun fact about this Thai province is that the first-ever rubber plant of the country was planted here. It has three national parks, including Khao Pu–Khao Ya National Park, Mu Ko Phetra National Park, and Hat Chao Mai National Park.
Phang Nga, Thailand

Phang Nga's Ao Phang Nga National Park was used for filming Jurassic World Rebirth. Its topography is the reason tourists are attracted to this place. It has well-preserved rivers and a mangrove forest that adds to its scenic beauty.
Kalkara, Malta

Shooting here in Malta was a difficult experience, as the Jurassic World Rebirth director, Gareth Edwards, said. They also used the nearby Mediterranean Sea for the shoot, for which Scarlett Johansson told Empire Magazine that:
"There was no escape from the sun. It was just baking every day. And you're on this rig, 30 feet in the air or whatever it is, and it's moving up and down and sideways, and there's all this water being shot out of these cannons towards you. It was brutal."
London, United Kingdom

Later, the Jurassic World Rebirth filming took place in London, where scenes involving the InGen facility were shot. If you still don't know the difference between InGen and Biosyn in the popular franchise, you are in luck. We have an explainer for that here.
New York City, United States

New York City was used for filming too, but that was mainly for the film's pick-up shots.
