Aimee Lou Wood and Sydney Sweeney were in the same show together. However, they did not appear in the same episode or season together. Sydney Sweeney was on The White Lotus, playing the role of Olivia Mossbacher. She was on season 1 of the show and appeared in six episodes. Olivia is the daughter of Nicole Mossbacher (Connie Britton) and Mark Mossbacher (Steve Zahn).

On the other hand, Aimee Lou Wood was also on the show, but she came in a later season. Wood played the role of Chelsea in season 3 of The White Lotus. Chelsea is Rick Hatchett's (Walton Goggins) free-spirited girlfriend from Manchester.

Both the roles played by Sweeney and Wood were main roles.

How did Aimee Lou Wood react to a post about Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle ad?

Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle jeans ad has been a topic of controversy ever since it came out. Many thought that the ad was distasteful and racist. In the ad, Sweeney said:

"Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color. My jeans are blue," and a voicover completes the ad saying, "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans."

A photographer by the name Misan Harriman took to Instagram to upload a clip of the GQ Interview Sweeney recently did to call out the actress.

Misan wrote in his caption:

"Presuming that you are not a white supremacist, at least say how horrified you were by how this campaign was amplified and celebrated by unrepentant racists who believe in eugenics. At least recognise the harm your jeans campaign has caused black folk, the undertone of the campaign is that your genetics are superior to others, the play on words is clear as day and racists LOVED it! So, presuming you didn’t know when you shot it, you certainly do now, and it matters. This ain't it!"

Many netizens called out the Anyone But You actress in the comment section, and one of them was Aimee Lou Wood. She commented on Harriman's post with a single green nauseous emoji.

On the other hand, Sweeney had this to say during the GQ interview regarding all the hate she received regarding the American Eagle ad:

"I know who I am. I know what I value. I know that I'm a kind person... I know that I love a lot, and I know that I'm just excited to see what happens next. And so I don't really let other people define who I am... I did a jean ad. I mean, the reaction definitely was a surprise, but I love jeans... All I wear are jeans. I'm literally in jeans and a T-shirt every day of my life."

Aimee Lou Wood and Sydney Sweeney both appeared in The White Lotus, but in different seasons. Wood reacted to Sweeney's American Eagle ad controversy with a nauseous emoji on Instagram. Sweeney later said she did not expect the backlash and that she was just doing a jeans ad.
