Alex Cooper, host of the Call Her Daddy podcast, in her new Hulu documentary titled Call Her Alex, has publicly stated that she was sexually harassed by her college soccer coach, Nancy Feldman.
According to a report in People Magazine, Cooper was studying at Boston University during that time. In her documentary, she claimed that Feldman made inappropriate remarks about her body, questioned her about her sex life, and tried to approach her sexually.
Feldman was the inaugural head coach of the women’s soccer team at Boston University from 1995 until her retirement in 2022, according to a report in BU Today. During her 27-year tenure, she amassed 418 wins, which place her at the 22nd spot on the all-time list of NCAA women’s soccer coaches. Nancy Feldman was also named conference Coach of the Year 12 times.
Here is what we know about the alleged sexual harassment faced by Alex Cooper.
What claims were made by Alex Cooper against her former soccer coach, Nancy Feldman?
In her Hulu documentary, Call Her Alex, Alex Cooper opened up about the sexual harassment she faced at the hands of her women's soccer coach, Nancy Feldman, while she was at Boston University.

According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, Cooper was a top soccer player in high school and went to Boston University on a full-time scholarship. Detailing the sexual harassment, she told the outlet:
“My sophomore year, everything really shifted. I started to notice her really starting to fixate on me way more than any other teammate of mine. And it was confusing because the focus wasn’t like, ‘You’re doing so well, let’s get you on the field, you’re gonna be a starter.’ It was all based on her [Feldman] wanting to know who I was dating, her making comments about my body and her always wanting to be alone with me.”
She recalled:
“It was this psychotic game of you wanna play? Tell me about your sex life, I have to drive you to your night class, get in the car with me alone. I started trying to spend as little time as possible with her, taking different routes to practice where I knew I wouldn’t run into her. During meetings, I would try to sit as far away from her as possible, literally anything to not be alone with this woman.”
Alex Cooper said that she confided in her mother, Laurie Cooper, who told in the docuseries that the lawyers identified Feldman’s behavior as sexual harassment.
The 30-year-old said that she and her parents met with the dean of athletics, who did not take action after they provided their department with documented notes of Feldman’s alleged misconduct against Alex Cooper. They reportedly did not fire her until she retired in 2022 but told the podcaster to keep her scholarship.
“Within five minutes, they had entirely dismissed everything I had been through. I got into the car with my parents and when the door shut, I immediately broke down and I just started sobbing.”

Cooper, who graduated from Boston University in 2017, did not play soccer in her senior year. According to People Magazine, she said that it took 10 years for her to share her story because she wants women to come forward and share their stories.
Call Me Alex is all set to premiere on Hulu on June 10, with both episodes dropping on the same day.
