Duke Keaton is the adopted son of Diane Keaton. The 25-year-old was welcomed into her family in 2001. Along with Duke, Diane was also a mother to her daughter, Dexter Keaton, whom she adopted five years earlier, in 1996, according to People.

On October 12, a day after Diane’s passing, Duke Keaton was spotted outside their Los Angeles home, according to TMZ.

In the photos, Duke was seen wearing baggy black jeans with a black sweatshirt and carrying a bag on his back. He is known to be very private about his personal and social life, with only nine posts on his Instagram. His last post, uploaded on June 15, featured two photos of him, believed to have been taken in a studio.

Duke Keaton released his debut single titled "Passenger Princess" in August this year, marking his official entry into the music industry. The singer has also tagged 11:11 Music Group in his Instagram bio, suggesting that he might be signed under the label.

He has over 580 followers on SoundCloud, a popular music streaming platform. On the platform, Duke has three listed tracks titled SIN featuring Lunatic Loon, Galaxy's Away, and Time.

While Duke Keaton keeps his life private, his mother, Diane, has often spoken openly about hers in interviews. In a 2005 conversation with Life magazine, as reported by People, she reflected on motherhood and said:

"The shocking thing is that I worry differently now. Before kids, if I worried, it was only about myself, but that's all you do is worry as a parent. It's rule number one in parenting: secretly worry without letting the kids know you're worried."

Keaton has shown her interest in not marrying from time to time. In an interview with ABC News in 1996, she said:

"I think I never got married because I didn’t want to get married. I didn’t choose to get married and the people that I was with, it was best that we were not married. I did the right thing."

"I really love the family that I have … those people are really, really important to me and my friends"

However, in a 2023 interview with Extra TV, when asked about when she last went on a date, the actress said,

"Let's say 15 years… They probably just thought, ‘Enough's enough… she's too weird.’ I'm kind of odd, but I'm doing fine. Someday… someone will marry me… Maybe one of these nice men today who have to deal with me today."

Along with being close to his mom, Duke Keaton is also close to his sister Dexter. Uploading a photo of the two on Instagram in 2016, Dexter wrote:

"Happy National Siblings Day! You're a pain, but I love ya ❤️"
