White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend Erin M. Elmore. He shared the news on Wednesday night and posted a 37-second clip showing him kneeling with a ring box in his hands inside the White House. The post, uploaded on both Instagram and X, was captioned:

“She said YES.”

Later, the couple posed for the camera with Elmore flaunting her engagement ring on her finger.

Erin M. Elmore, Esquire, is the Director of Art in Embassies at the United States Department of State, according to her bio on the art.state.gov website.

Following the now-viral news, ‘Congratulations Dan’ is trending on X as fans expressed their excitement and love for the newly engaged couple.

Erim M. Elmore is the Director of Art in Embassies at the U.S. Department of State and joined the position in April 2025. She is an attorney (Esq.), journalist, and philanthropist who has been dedicated to the cause of the arts in the USA.

Elmore has a nonprofit focused on “large-scale community events that foster creativity and cultural expression through fluid installation art.”

According to the Art in Embassies website, Erin holds a Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University Law School in Pennsylvania. Before that, she graduated magna cum laude in broadcasting, communications, and political science from the University of Miami in Florida.

Erin M. Elmore has also been an active contributor to “innovative design residency programs that integrate art with recycled materials, turning waste into creative wonders.”

According to IMDb, Erin M. Elmore was previously married to actor-producer Craig M. Spitzer, and they had one child. The Philadelphia native has previously been a TV reporter and also served as a Republican strategist and the executive director of USA Strong.

According to Outkick, Erin M. Elmore has also been a contestant on the reality series The Apprentice.


Dan Scavino, 49, is a senior advisor and assistant to Donald Trump, having worked with him since 2015. He became the director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office in August 2025 and also serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff. Previously, the longest-serving aide of Trump has been his Social Media Director.

Scavino, who is an alumnus of the State University of New York, Plattsburgh, was previously married to Jennifer Scavino from 2000 until their divorce in 2018. They share two sons, according to Newsweek.
