Fiona Fan, better known as FanFan, has found herself amid controversy after calling Kai Cenat a Sean “Diddy” Combs lookalike. She was hosting the 2025 Streamer Awards over the weekend. At one point, she addressed Cenat in the audience and said:

“Oh, and also, congrats on your new documentary with 50 Cent. That was you, right?”

FanFan was referring to the Netflix documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which is executive produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Films and Television Inc. It was released on December 2 and has caused quite a stir.

Fiona Fan is a partnered Twitch streamer, Instagram star, content creator, influencer, gamer, and award show host.

In the wake of her Kai Cenat-Diddy joke, she was called out by fellow streamer Tylil James.

“If you’re going to be on the mic making jokes, at least let it be funny. Have a good night,” James said.

Meanwhile, Fiona Fan claimed her joke was “funny” and continued smiling, while the audience remained silent. The clip has now gone viral and sparked negative responses from netizens.

Fiona Fan joined the NoPixel community in 2023. She has played the characters of Fan Fan, Fan Ni and Fing Fing on the platform.

Fiona is also an ice/figure skater, ballet performer, hip-hop/ contemporary dancer, pianist, and proficient in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In fact, at ten, she moved back to Toronto, Canada, to train in figure skating for the Olympics. However, she soon quit after hitting puberty and tearing her Achilles heel.

“The transition between middle school and high school was when I started playing games. My brother got me into Minecraft…” Fiona told BS Productions’ YouTube channel during a January 2025 interview.

She also mentioned playing Hunger Games, League of Legends, and more. However, during the COVID-19 lockdown, she got introduced to professional gaming, first on Discord and later on Twitch, and hasn’t looked back ever since.

Besides the Diddy joke, Fiona Fan also made fun of Kai Cenat’s “most expensive haircut” and “least educational university” during the award ceremony.

Meanwhile, Cenat ended up winning three awards, including Best Just Chatting Streamer, Best Streamed Event, and Best Streamed Collab. Before exiting the event, he went live and thanked his fans and followers for their undying support.

“I ain't going to lie: to everyone that supports me genuinely, y'all make me happy as f**k. I appreciate that. And I know people in here aspire to be sh*t, y'all n***as put that foot on that f**king pedal and go. Most importantly, keep God first. I'm not playing,” Kai stated.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Fiona has triggered a controversy. In December 2021, she slammed the obese community, claiming they should be put in a “roped-off area” like smokers and be “shamed,” as being overweight is “bad.”

Later, she clarified that her comments were taken out of context.

"I'm not going to give you some disingenuous apology because I don't think it's wrong to have an unpopular opinion. However, I am sorry about the way I phrased the 25-second clip portion, and I am sorry that it came off as if I thought obese people deserve to be shamed, because I don't think that at all. That's not what I believe at all," FanFan stated.

Fiona Fan added that all she meant was that obesity should not be “glorified” but considered as “unhealthy behavior.”
