Isan Elba has finally made her pink carpet debut. The eldest child of film star Idris Elba walked the 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in a black strapless corset mini-dress, perfect for the theme of an otherwise panned evening of the lingerie brand’s biggest night.
Isan has been a regular at red carpet events, with her first appearance being at the premiere of Tyler Perry's 2007 flick Daddy's Little Girls. Ahead of her appearance at the show, Elba shared an Instagram carousel with her father and WNBA breakout star Angel Reese, who also made her Victoria's Secret debut this year.
Jodie Turner-Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker, sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid, and Ashley Graham were among the stars who walked the pink carpet. Show-stopper Alex Consani was adjudged Model of the Year, while Olympian Suni Lee also made her Victoria's Secret debut this year.
All about Isan Elba
Born to make-up artist Hanne 'Kim' Nørgaard, Idris' first wife, in 2002, Isan was co-parented by the two when her father ended his marriage to her mother. They were expecting her. Idris, however, has been a steady figure in Isan's life ever since.

Now living in Atlanta, Isan is known to be away from the flashing lights of paparazzi. In her interaction with Glamour in 2019, she said,
“I'm pretty far from all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood...”
The runaway, however, was not Isan Elba's first choice - she has always shown a particular liking to the silver screen. In his 2022 appearance at The Breakfast Club, Idris revealed she didn't speak to him for weeks when she failed to land a role in his film Beast, saying,
“She auditioned and it came down to chemistry in the end. She's great, but the relationship in the film and the relationship between my daughter was, the chemistry wasn't right for the film, weirdly enough...”
Two years earlier, she was named the 2019 Golden Globe Ambassador, which had her handing award trophies to winners and helping a charity of her choosing. Isan Elba chose mental health awareness as a keystone. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, she stated,
“Mental health, specifically among African Americans and my peers in particular, is something I really want to be more vocal about. There’s this perceived stigma and I’ve seen friends struggle. We need to empower young people to not be afraid to ask for help.”
Her father, Idris, has often credited his children for motivating him through tougher times.
