Bradley James, the bodyguard and driver for Megan Thee Stallion’s former BFF, Kelsey Harris, has claimed that he overheard Harris admit to shooting the singer during the 2020 incident.

According to a report in HotNewHipHop, James alleged that Harris fired at Megan (born as Megan Pete) three times, and that Tory Lanez (real name Daystar Peterson) intervened by grabbing Harris’ arm, which caused the gun to discharge two additional times.

Peterson’s legal team noted that he never fired the weapon the night Pete was shot in Hollywood Hills. Attorney Walter Roberts argued that this statement aligned with the testimony of trial witness Sean Kelly, who said he saw two women fighting.

Kelsey Harris, also known as Kelsey Nicole, is Pete's former close friend and assistant. According to her Instagram, she owns a fashion boutique in Houston, Texas, and is the founder of KN Management, a talent booking agency. She is also into real estate and owns Airbnb Chill. She is also the owner of The Royals nightclub in Victoria, Texas.

According to HotNewHipHop, Kelsey Harris met Megan Thee Stallion while both were attending Prairie View A&M University in Texas around 2013. They became popular on the campus and were known for their sisterly bond.

She also worked as Stallion’s assistant. During an interview with the Danza Project, Harris said that she credits herself with jumpstarting Stallion’s rap career.

She revealed that the two grew closer when Stallion invited her to a kickback one night and showed off her freestyling skills. Reflecting on the incident, Harris said that she was blown after the kickback and told the rapper what she needed to do next to take her freestyles worldwide.

She even said that Megan's mother thanked her for helping her achieve her dreams during the video shoot for Big Ole Freak. She said that she was not looking for credit but was happy to see her friend succeed.

Stallion and Kelce shared an inseparable bond, but the 2020 shooting incident resulted in their fallout. Since the incident, Stallion has accused her former friend of conspiring with the Canadian rapper Tory Lanez and accepting bribe money from him to keep quiet about the details of the alleged assault, according to Atlanta Black Star.
