American reality TV personality Kim Zolciak was subpoenaed in a high-profile divorce case between Kyle Mowitz and Jillian Green on September 20, 2025. Mowitz is a Georgia-based real estate entrepreneur, value creator, and co-founder of Imperium Blue as well as the owner of The Imperium Companies.
According to Us Weekly, the businessman’s wife has accused Zolciak of accepting gifts from Kyle Mowitz. In the legal documents now reviewed by the publication, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star has been ordered by the court to appear before a judge for a deposition.
Jillian Green, who is now seeking $100 million from her husband, has urged Kim Zolciak to provide communication records of her contact with Kyle, along with receipts and other details about the presents she received or gave, as well as “monies loaned to [her] and monies paid” by Mowitz.
Kim Zolciak has pushed back against the subpoena with her lawyers calling it,
“unreasonable, oppressive, and intended to annoy and embarrass her.”
A judge has not yet ruled on the matter.

Exploring the circumstances surrounding the Mowitz-Green divorce
Kyle Mowitz filed for divorce from Jillian Green in March 2025, citing irreconcilable differences. The next month, he informed the court that he and his estranged wife were living separately. At the time, Mowitz also mentioned that Green didn’t require any alimony as she was:
“an able-bodied adult capable of gainful employment.”
Additionally, the businessman requested sole legal and physical custody of both their children.
However, Jillian responded by demanding joint legal custody but primary physical custody. She also claimed that Kyle Mowitz formed a “family trust” worth $100 million in 2021 and was allegedly having an extramarital affair while “contemplating divorce.” According to reports, he has sole control over the family trust, which now also encompasses the majority of their assets.
Meanwhile, Mowitz has accused his estranged wife of cheating on him, adding her claims about the nature of the trust were “baseless,” and she reportedly had full knowledge of its existence and the time it was created.
Additionally, Kyle has insisted there were no “fraudulent transactions” done by him.

Meanwhile, Kim Zolciak was subpoenaed into their case and has been asked to submit details around her involvement with Kyle Mowitz, his divorce from Jillian Green, and other third parties involved, including Zolciak’s own estranged husband and former NFL star Kroy Biermann.
The reality TV star was also asked to hand over all documents regarding the “financial relationship” Kim Zolciak reportedly shared with Kyle Mowitz, including exchanged gifts, business transactions, and travel expenses.
While Kim Zolciak hasn’t commented on the case directly, her attorneys criticized it as “overreaching and overly burdensome” for their client. Meanwhile, Mowitz’s lawyer, Marvin Solomiany, told Us Weekly that dragging Kim into the divorce case is “highly unnecessary,” adding that the businessman’s relationship with the Don’t Be Tardy star “only began after the parties’ separation.”
It is noteworthy that Kim Zolciak is herself going through a divorce from Kroy Biermann. The couple separated in 2023 after 12 years of marriage, during which they had shared four children. They have both requested sole custody of their children.
