Priya Jain, Eric Dane’s rumoured girlfriend has sparked controversy by claiming that she was left “blindsided” by his red carpet debut with his new partner, Janell Shirtcliff, according to an exclusive Page Six report.

A source told Entertainment Tonight, about Dane and Shirtcliff:

“The two have been in an on-and-off relationship for over three years and care deeply for each other.”

And now Page Six has learned from a source that the rumored couple “never broke up.”

Dane was seen with Shirtcliff on June 18, during the premiere of his new series, Countdown. It marked his first red carpet appearance since his ALS diagnosis in April 2025.

Priya Jain played a minor role in the TV film, Cruel Intentions, and she will be seen opposite actor Josh Duhamel as a U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant in the upcoming film, titled Not Without Hope. The film has been written and directed by Joe Carnahan and also stars Zachary Levi.

Jain also portrayed Sam in the thriller, The Canyon, directed by Vaughn Stein. She also produced the film, per her IMDb profile.

She is also an avid traveler.

She was first spotted with Eric Dane in November last year. However, Page Six reported that the two first met in the summer last year. In November 2024, they were photographed walking to West Hollywood’s Sushi Park restaurant.

The rumored couple were again spotted in Los Angeles this February, as they headed for a dinner date. They wore matching outfits as Dane held his rumored partner close to him.

Eric Dane shares two kids – Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14 — with his ex-wife Rebecca Gayheart. The two got married in 2004 and filed for divorce in 2018. However, their divorce was not finalized and in March 2025, Dane requested that the petition be dismissed. They continue to co-parent their children.
