British professional boxer Ricky Hatton last reportedly dated Claire Sweeney. Speaking of their relationship, he said in a statement reported by Manchester News:

"It's amazing [to find] someone you’ve probably known for 25 years. I've been in relationships and she's been in relationships. I've had my kids and she's had her kids. And then 25 years later we found each other. It's quite a nice story."

In another interview with Lorraine from ITV, Sweeney said:

"I’ve known Ricky for, like, 25 years. We always passed each other at events. We did a TV show together. First of all I met him in the early 2000s, then we did Dance for Comic Relief together in 2013. Then met on Dancing on Ice and it's great"

However, Claire confirmed their breakup to the Mail Online in December 2024, stating:

"I'm great - we're still friends, we were friends, we dated and now we're friends again. It's all good!"

Whom did Ricky Hatton date before Claire Sweeney?

Ricky Hatton dated Jennifer Dooley, reportedly, in 2005 and got engaged four years later in 2009. The couple shared two daughters named Millie Hatton and Fearne Grace Hatton. In 2010, Emma Bowe revealed an affair with him.

In a statement, as reported by The Mirror, Bowe said:

"He was my idol and I couldn’t believe he wanted to be with me. I knew about Jennifer and how she was his ­fiancée, but I was just so flattered Ricky was ­interested in me. We had a wild time together."

Ricky and Jennifer reportedly split in 2013, reconciled for a while, and eventually parted ways in 2016. After Jennifer, Ricky briefly dated Marie Pollard in 2016. Though their relationship ended in 2017, they were reportedly back together in 2021.

A year later, Ricky was speculated to be dating Angela Blemmings. Ricky also uploaded an Instagram post at that time, featuring Angela with the caption:

However, their relationship came to an end the next year in 2023. He also dated Chelsea Claire the same year. However, the couple soon parted ways.

Speaking of their relationship and split, an insider told The Sun at that time:

"Ricky and Chelsea had a great time together, but it ended up being more of a fling. They are at very different stages of their life and Ricky is really throwing himself into training and wants to concentrate on that. Things are still really amicable and they will be friends going forward."
