What did Walter Lee Hampton II previously say about his alleged former friend, Tyler Perry?
Walter Lee Hampton II has earlier spoken about his alleged former friend, Tyler Perry’s alleged misconduct.
According to a 2013 report in The St. Louis American, Hampton reportedly claimed that he was attacked after outing Perry in his YouTube video, titled “Love & Relationships: Tyler Perry & Me.” In the video, he claimed that he and Perry were once best friends and the actor was actively involved with the black g*y community.
Per outlet, he continued to say that Perry stopped identifying himself as a black g*y man after achieving success in his career. Soon after the video was out, Walter Lee Hampton II alleged that he was attacked by a group of men. He received wounds on his face and arms, which required 120 stitches, per Bossip.
However, he later denied in another video that he was attacked by the goons of Perry, shutting down the rumors on the internet after he spoke about the actor. In one of his videos, titled, The 'Outing' of Tyler Perry. Can a G*Y MAN who is ALREADY OUT, be “OUTED”? Hampton claimed to have known Perry since the ‘90s and once openly alleged that he was g*y. He alleged that Perry had paid millions of dollars to hide his sexuality.
Perry was recently in the headlines after Derek Dixon accused him of s*xual misconduct against him. He alleges that the actor subjected him to s*xual harassment, assault, and battery, per a report in CNN.
In his lawsuit, Dixon claimed that he created a “coercive, sexually exploitative dynamic with” him over the years, using his industrial influence. However, these are mere allegations, and no publicly verified evidence has been presented in the court filings as of now.
The lawsuit stated that Dixon first met Perry at a party in 2019, where Dixon was part of the event staff. He later offered him a small role on the series Ruthless before his big break on the political drama, The Oval.
