According to reports, the disagreement began when Brown’s SUV parked next to Tupuola’s car, where the latter was sitting with his girlfriend.
According to reports, Quenton Brown came out of his car, and his passenger door hit the driver’s side of Cross’s car. The young football coach came out of his vehicle to check the damage. However, Brown immediately became confrontational, saying “it was just a bump” and calling Cross a “b*tch *ss.”
The two men continued the back and forth, and according to Cross’ girlfriend, who was also present, her boyfriend slapped the side mirror of Brown’s SUV. After a while, the men decided to resolve the issue, and when Cross turned his back to go back into his vehicle, he was immediately attacked from behind by Brown.
“[He] briskly walked after him while producing an unknown object from his right side [and]swung his arm in a straight stabbing motion and struck [the boyfriend] in his back,” Cross’ girlfriend said.
