Ronnie Radke has dragged Nev Schulman into the Brittany Furlan catfish controversy, hoping to clear his name. When asked if he would like Nev Schulman, writer of the Catfish TV show, to investigate the case, Ronnie told TMZ:

"I would be down for anybody that has any access to this account that can get the IP and that can literally prove who this is. If you're out there and you know what you're doing, let's go."

He added:

"Nev, if you're out there, bring catfish back just for me. That would make me feel really good. So Nev, if you're out there, wake up. Let's get this going; let's figure this shit out because I'm tired of hearing about it straight up."

As of now, Nev Schulman has not replied to Ronnie Radke's request to help with the Brittany Furlan catfish controversy.

How did the Ronnie Radke and Brittany Furlan catfish controversy start?

The controversy started last year in May when Brittany Furlan revealed talking to someone and being lured into him on Snapchat, whom she thought was Ronnie Radke, the American singer and rapper. She added that Ronnie has denied the claims of the guy being him on Snapchat. However, she called the whole thing catfishing, asking him to stop sending texts on the platform.

Ronnie has denied the catfishing claims and even filed a temporary restraining order against Brittany Furlan, which was rejected. Radke, in his restraining order, said that the claims are untrue, as he and Furlan never met in real life. He added that her husband, Tommy Lee, has been harassing him after the claims went online.

He continued that Furlan:

"will not stop posting false public claims about me and messaging underage fans to coerce them into lying about me."

Later, another statement was made via Furlan's attorney against Radke, as reported by People:

"Ms. Furlan is offended to find out this petition was filed because the only victim of harassment is her. We will take all legal measures to defend against this frivolous lawsuit and request that Ms. Furlan be protected from further harassment and threats by the petitioner."

Ronnie Radke's Instagram has also been taken down. Speaking of it, he told TMZ:

"It's a little weird. I have to subpoena Snapchat now to get the metadata, to get the IP address, and to get all this stuff because she (Brittany) won't let it go. So that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to subpoena all that and get the IP address because if that's what a guilty person has to do, I guess I have to do that and post about it, right?"

Ronnie Radke is standing by his claim that he was not the one communicating with Brittany Furlan.
